Everybody likes ghost town cause it's all urban. People didn't want all the ziplines and stuff in SF, they jsut wanted omore city maps like Karkand and Mashtuur. They don't want teamwork, just constant fragging and the gaining of global points.

What you said is true, but since the expansion, I relized that the grappling hook and zip lines kick ass!

It's true though, most urban maps don't really support teamwork skills since it's too intense to really get the squad organized...

Ya, i love using the hook, but unfortunately, most other people don't bother to do anything except switch to the noobtoob and start fragging like crazy.

I think this is my least favorite map in SF. Its too small for all the vehicles they placed in it. 4 helos is a bit much for such a small map. Perhaps if they made the city part twice as big I might enjoy it more.

Most servers have Ghost Town and Warlord maps. I learn to love these two maps. There are a lot of places to hide, snipe, and taking advantage of zip, and hook. I have my comfortable places to snipe in both maps. As for being knife, I don't recall being stab in the back, but I do recall I stab quite number of snipers myself. Once occasion, I sniped someone and that someone inturn sniped me back. So, what I did? Since I knew his location, I just snuck up, and laid next him (side by side, just to say "hello"). Right after he noticed me, a knife was stuck right to him.:laugh:

Once on Ghost town, we were a squad with 1 tank, 1 AA and 1 APC. We were all engineers so we repaired ourself all the time, that was great fun!

did something similar, engineers in the tank and AA, supply in the APC, indestructible combination, unlimited ammo for the AA guy, so no threat from choppers or amor whatsoever. we were spetsnaz and took over the base closest to the SAS spawn, they just couldn't cross over. that was awesome.

It barely happens though, like only 1/100 rounds i'm actually on a team that actually uses VOIP and works together. WHen one team has teamwork, it's nearly impossible to lose. The problem is, nobody cares about winning except the actual good players (not skill wise, teamwork wise) and cmdr (he wants the double points for the win). The other people just wanna boost their stats, and frag people with the noobtoob all day long.

So fun when you're in a squad with an APC and a tank. Got 12 kills in one go.. So fun. But, I wish they got rid of the arty in SF. I find it so annoying when you're capturing a base and you get blown apart by the arty.

It's so fun!!! But never snipe on it. No point really. Better to be Spec-Ops and shoot at a sniper if you see one. For some reason they stand out SO MUCH on this map.

That's because the ghuille(sp?) suits have been replaced by white tshirts. Unless you are SAS or SEALS in which case you are wearing all black or grey.

Ghost Town is by far my fav bf2/sf map. No jet whores, plenty of sniping places, the tanks/apcs are always killing each other (for the most part) and although SAS has the edge, Ive see spetz own SAS plenty of times.

The BH is a problem but since the map isn't that big, Special ops guys can just put c4 on the SAS chopper pad at their home base and blow the BH when it comes back to repair.
