How much RAM do you have? Yr comp will be pressed to the edge with SF, it is not the same as BF2o (o - original, can't say vanilla).

      Re: Load Stuck At 62%

first off, EVERYONEs computer stops at 62%, even my friends AMD ATHLON 4800 + with 2 gigs of super ram and a 7800 GTX and xfi stops at 62 almost as long as my 6600GT 1024 mb ram comp.

it just happens to everyone. turn down the settings if its too long, its likely that your comp cant hack it then. or just wait, it usually speeds up after loading a map once.

My doesn't get stuck at 62 % at all, sure the geometries take a few seconds to load longer is doesn't get suck around the 62 % mark for me. I'm running 1 gig too. However before it used to get stuck around the 56-65 mark somewhere. Must be new drivers.

I usually get this when I first optimized. It happened to me after I installed my new hardware, I will see to night if it continues, if so I will have to say my biggest culprit would be the nF4 chipset (which I recently switched to).

            Re: Load Stuck At 62%

Whenever you change graphic settings, the geometrics takes aaages to load past 62%/65% for the first load. It goe back to normal-ish load time after that :)
But yeah as mentioned, go have a coffee while you wait. Maybe wash the car too. Mow the lawn aswell? :P
