Load Stuck At 62%

Ok I just recently upgraded my BF2 to BF2SF and installed the update on the web. Now whenever I try to join a singleplayer or multiplayer game the load screen gets stuck at 62% Geometrics. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it.

O really? It used to usually take me around 10 seconds so I thought something was wrong when i waited like 5 minutes and nothing happend. I guess Ill just wait like 10.

The geometry is HUGE in BF2. Thats what takes me the longest to load..However with my 7800GT overclocked its usually 15 seconds most 25 seconds.

it takes me a little bit with my 6800gs, maybe like a minute? thats why I bought a second video card for SLi, because Im impatient!

Ha, i beat you all i got 2 Geforce 7800's!! and 2 gigs of ram... the sad part is though that i dont actually have the game, i went to target a while ago to buy and it wasn't there!!!

i had this problem. i updated drivers and it worked. are they fully updated?

Yea, but i got a 15 dollar gift card for target, ill get it but I dont have a car so i have to convince my dad to drive me....I hate not being able to drive!!!

It stops there beacause it needs to optimize the new grephic settings. can take some mins..

Takes me MAX 10 seconds on my X700 Gecube 256 ATi Radeon.

However In SF it can be 20-30 seconds.

Yup i get stuck on 62% for around 2 mins on my GF6600 GT...Have patience ,it will work

For about my first 20(SF) games i would have a 5 minute wait, but i get only a short wait know. I didn't make any changes to hardware, drivers or game settings. Just got better on its own.
