Don't owrry about it, it took mine forever! It took me like little over 30 minutes to patch my game.

wow thats really long i thought that 1 min was long... gees maybe i am a bit spoiled with my comp and i dont know whats the prob with ur comp but i had something the same i started my comp went good till i installed it i was done want to create account created it, than started to play loading acc server than some error came in system32 i asked my grandpa (prof in comps) and it was some main system of ur comp and i thought okay that sucks for a game than i restarded comp and all hell broke loos cause normal windows didnt start pretty weard :hmm: and i did this for like 5 times in a row and we came to a conclusion and restarted the thing and it went smooth like imported silk from china after i installed internet though

Well, Thanks for all your help guys. Sometime between tomorrow and the end of the week i will be purchasing a 512 stick of RAM from FutureShop.:)

If that helps then cool, If not thats alright too. As long as i go on a 24/7 single map server its alright to wait 20 minutes for the connection. Atleast i get some actual game time.

Also, One last question. I know you all have probably heard this 30 000 times before but i'll ask it anyway seeing as im too lazy to use the Search feature; Whats the deal with unlocking weapons, And how do you get the points or whatever to unlock them?

Bam. Tons of detailed unlock info. I've got that bookmarked.

But yeah, you get weapon unlocks with rank-ups (Although I'm not sure if you get one for the first rank...). But all the info's in there on how many points you need to rank up.

And you get points by playing. Kill people and help people.

Also, have you tried single player and seen if the verifying client data takes forever on that too?

Single player's still fun to play every now and then, and the speed of the game is usually much faster than your online speed.
