I beg to differ. While being a complete moron determines they'll be a TK'er for life, plenty of newbies haven't the slightest clue how to tell their teammates apart. Especially if they are younger kids, which I'm sure a lot of newer players will be considering Santa Clause and all that stuff.. I've shown the game to younger cousins and such, and they're not interested in teamwork, they're interested in "shooting that guy", regardless of their team. The GOOD thing is, that these newbs are not all n00bs, and can (will) learn right from wrong.

I'm confused, you're talking about telling right from wrong, lack of teamwork, and new comers getting used to the subtle differences in uniforms? Which one is it that you are claiming would make newbs tkers when they start out?

And who says all the newbs will be younger? I mean, not only kids get Christmas presents.

And more expansion packs is NOT a good thing, it only feeds EA's already astronomical ego. I'd prefer the sales go DOWN on Christmas and send a wake-up call to EA.

Then what would we do? who'd play buggy, unbalanced, noobed ol BF2 then?

I didnt pay a cent for this game, but i want to make it worth the money my gf spent on it.

Besides, once again ill compare the situation to a subscription MMORPG. IF the customer base isnt happy, then the company will lose.

The subtle differences in uniforms take time to get used to, but it's the people who don't CARE about those differences I was referring to. They just shoot because they have a gun and they see someone, not because the person is or isn't on their team. Of course, the very young end of the spectrum might not understand that yet, but could be taught. Someone older that is just a moron will probably never grow out of it, they'd more than likely just be a jerk the rest of their gaming life. :p It's all just social theories really, none of it is concrete. :)

ofcourse it will ... and i am one of those noobz ...the only thing is I am noob only becuz im new to the game, all it takes is mastery of vehicles and memorization of the maps before i can pwn easily ... fortunately (or unfortunately) for you ... that does not take me very long

Just bought my roommate a copy as a xmas gift today and will be hooking another friend up as well. EA please send me some referer bonus credit towards booster packs please! Good news is, they are not smacktard teenager types, and I am going to pad my kill stats off them while they are dealing with the learning curve. :p Nah, kidding... they will be my squadling medic bitches muahaha!

MAn you can see them come out of the woodworks today, Waiting for a chopper becomes a tk fest. i jumped to 3 differant servers and it was the same.

n00bs tk for vehicles. and u punish them and get them kicked / banned
n00bs dont know how to fly / drive a vehicle and get kills so they crash quick or get killed quick so they tk u fast, and if u wait a couple of min they get kicked and its yours

I plan on really enjoying the new in flux of noobs. At last someone I can own (pwn?). Hmmm. Oh well, I figure they ought to be worth about 10 k points...... For me. MoooHa Ha Ha. I hope this dosent cause some bad issues to arise like a longer wait to get in game or tons of lag because they dont have a clue and havent tweeked thier computer properly.

lol i met already some noobs in a game 1 hour ago pretty funny was driving my tank up and down their main in karkand (hotel main way) and roadkilled like 8 n00bs and i had to laugh about it and so the laughing became my dead cuz some guys just try to trow c4 on u and blow themselves up and only getting +1 deaths and no points or something and in 20 seconds i will be back for more.. never understanded the meaning of killing urself for 1 guy...

Well, that's where I disagree. I know someone from this forum who's wife is getting him Special Forces for Christmas so clearly adults get Christmas gifts too. Besides, I doubt many children learn the difference between right and wrong playing a videogame.

I think people have just heard the insult "n00b" thrown around so much they start to take it litterally.
