Nah--not on Christmas. It will take them until New Year's to get it installed, patched, and working. Possibly even the summer IF they also install SF.

But yeah, I'm looking forward to the infusion. I need another 7500 points for the next next unlock (probably won't make it to the last one) and I only average an hour or so per day, with three or four marathons per month. It'll be like "legal" point farming!

Theres already enough n00bs as there is. Anymore and the guns might turn real on some of them. Seriously I've found it almost impossible to have a good round these last 2 weeks for some reason. Early presents or something, not sure just been n00b heaven. Only good part is there will be more servers and maybe some rare n00bs will develop into clan worthy material.

My thought as well, my very words i would use.
More players = Bigger Games = Profit for EA and Digital Illusions = More focus on BF2 expansions and patches!

The 2 types of clans if I had to make it down to 2 would be:

The ones that do whatever it takes to have fun and just have a good group of guys.

The second is the ones that hate to lose and will scream and yell and just be sore losers.

Eitherway there are people that just aren't clan worthy but they think they are. People that don't go to forums. People that the game an hour a month. Yet they still want to be in the clan or atleast a clan. Thats what not being clan worthy is. Don't try and make a fool of me cause I jus come back stronger :)

no noobes are good (1) easy points(untill they get smarter) and(2) the game just get's bigger!, thus leading to more expansion packs and the game lives on as EA still makes money off of it.

Yeah...right. More noobs means more TK's because "OMG I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS WANT TANK!" and more TK punishes, more teammates who are 2 feet from you but won't give you ammo/health or revive you.

And more expansion packs is NOT a good thing, it only feeds EA's already astronomical ego. I'd prefer the sales go DOWN on Christmas and send a wake-up call to EA.

I was at Gamestop today buying SF and saw 2 kids in line with BF2, I asked them if they have ever played any of the BF games before, they said no. I'm guessing many new players before New Years.

Oh c'mon, why would this be something that people new to the game would be more likley to do than vets? Lack of experience doesn't make people tkers, being a **** makes people tkers.

I beg to differ. While being a complete moron determines they'll be a TK'er for life, plenty of newbies haven't the slightest clue how to tell their teammates apart. Especially if they are younger kids, which I'm sure a lot of newer players will be considering Santa Clause and all that stuff.. I've shown the game to younger cousins and such, and they're not interested in teamwork, they're interested in "shooting that guy", regardless of their team. The GOOD thing is, that these newbs are not all n00bs, and can (will) learn right from wrong.
