With exception for the AA, it's pointless.

For starters, I'm not getting in a tank that has c4, not knowingly at least. If I get in a tank and can't see...I will blow the tank myself...and wait for the respawn, so you're better off putting the c4 elsewhere and get the kill.

This post did help me though. I was on OMAN and thought my game was buggy because I couldn't see shizzle while manning AA. So if they don't realize it's c4...you might effectively remove an AA emplacement...provided you don't die.

I have to agree here, unless the person is paying no attention at all they will clearly see the C4 all over the tank and stay clear.

Say, I've got an idea... what about blocking the view of TOW and Stinger emplacements?
Anyway Gillian Anderson... well- it's not exactly the practicality of this thread that matters, it's the humour :P after all- imagine the shock of an unsuspecting enemy getting into the tank from behind (so he doesn't see the surprise) and all of the sudden find out there's 5 C4 charges in his face?

I'll say that would go proudly into the "Oh Sh1t Moments" thread.

I usually stick some C4 on the windshield of my blackhawk and vodniks. I don't fly or drive in 1st person, but if anyone tries to nick my ride they might has well have a sign saying OWNED on them.

Landed my blackhawk to minigun this guy that was creeping around our base on FuShe, but he ran up to the hawk. I thought he was gonna do something tricky so i got out ready to fight, but he jumped into the heli instead and started taking off engine. I quickly managed to place C4 on the windshield and pulled my G36C. He got the hint from the C4 and jumped out and started to run for it like a little girl. I swiftly shot him in the back and flew off laughing, uncaring of the explosives pasted over the front of my heli :)

does it work with medpacks or ammopacks? If so, medics and supports have a way to take out a tank.

Huh? what? medpacks and ammo packs don't explode :P They can't take out tanks at all- because their grenades do too little damage, and their primary weapon does nothing to them.

And if you mean- if you can stick medpacks and ammo-packs to tanks (to block the view)... no- they're not 'sticky'. And other than that, it's a terrible thing to waste. Your medpack will instead get picked up by the enemy, and I believe that it's possible to reload a tank's weaponry with support ammo resupplies. Either way- your medpacks and ammo will be 'absorbed' by the enemy.

You're better off keeping these useful 'pickup's for your own team than giving them away to the enemy.
