I was on a karkand server, in a Tank, and saw an American APC. Was gunna shoot it, but I saw this MEC guy on top of it looking down. SO i just moved on my jolly way!

I think just 1 in the right place will do anyway- as long as you block the crosshair- it'll be annoying enough to have to guess and line up the crosshair to the enemy.

Have you tried doing it with a landmine yet? I hear they're a lot bigger than a C4 pack. If not, try claymores too.

Mines will explode when the vehicle moves. I think a claymore does the same thing, and none of them stick like C4.

Would this work with your body? IE...jump on top and stand in front of their window so they can't see until you jump off?

With exception for the AA, it's pointless.

For starters, I'm not getting in a tank that has c4, not knowingly at least. If I get in a tank and can't see...I will blow the tank myself...and wait for the respawn, so you're better off putting the c4 elsewhere and get the kill.

This post did help me though. I was on OMAN and thought my game was buggy because I couldn't see shizzle while manning AA. So if they don't realize it's c4...you might effectively remove an AA emplacement...provided you don't die.

I did that trick today with the MEC tank on Mashtuur City at the SW flag...

I had my guns trained at where you exit the vehicle and when they jumped out...DEAD.

Killed 3 people, then 2 more people before a sniper found me.

Yeah, but they can turn turret and knock you off...plus the tank gun I think comes from that same spot (or very close to that spot).

I recall once getting on top of an enemy tank in Gulf of Oman...I was Support and kept dropping grenades...the guy got ****ed that he couldn't kill me and jumped out of the tank and killed me (was fun though).

I don't know about you, but when I man AA I say out of it...and jump in at the last second to shoot. I haven't tried, but I think it still locks on the target right? So you'll just see the little square of the lock in the HUD still, right?

Oh yeah... :P whoops. I keep forgetting- probably because when I plant landmines, they never work for some reason :P vehicles run over them- and they don't go boom... they don't even go 'FFfsshhh' like a dodgy landmine that failed to blow up. :P
