idiot did it to me on wake island 2007 im on china and on the run way the towers i was useing the gun as comander killed 3 peeps he was throwing first aid and jumping up and down and i tked him but its his fault for doing it.

The punish system does have purpose. It does not affect your score, but the number of "punishes" one accrues during a round is tracked by the server, and once a person receives six or seven punishes that person is kicked for TK'ing.

You sure about that ? I thought it was around -2 for a TK and it doubled if the person punished ? At least that is what seems to happen to me ... Seems there are alot of people these days that are very quick to punish, which is a shame...guess they never make mistakes.
There's a very easy way to test this.
Go TK some people. As soon as you do, flip open the tab window and watch your score. It will not change when you are punished.
I suggest you do it on an unranked server, then appologize a whole lot.
BTW, one issue that clouds this is that sometimes you will get -2 points for team damage as well as the -4 for the kill. If you hit someone a couple times, then kill him, it is possible to get -8 for one TK.
Hello the fool jumped at the same second the MEC did. They were side by side.. I SHOT THEY BOTH DIED.. Its not some watch where you shoot its called dumb ass ally punishes for something that was not even near being my fault.
It is your fault. You are the one shooting so you need to be careful not to shoot your own people. If you see a friendly near the enemy and there is a good chance to hit him then do not shoot the enemy cause if you do you are no better then that enemy. Wait fot a better opportunity. It is better to miss then to make a TK.
There is no patch that can fix plain old stupidity and it is even more stupid to ask for one.
I do not punish fot that kind of mistakes, actually I punish only when I can see a friendly shot me on purpose. But if I knew someone like you shot me in a situation you described and went on to blame me I would be happy to punish.
I also believe you should be banned from this forum until you reach age of 15.
Its not logical to get nothing for being punished. Alot of servers dont kick you for TKing.

Someone is gonna have to jump onto 20 different servers and TK at the start before any points are earnt. Then, maybe we can end this finally.
This is stupid. YOU pulled the trigger before makeing sure you had a clean shot. For all you know he was chaseing the enemy when you shot him. Foot soldiers need to exercise the same restraint pilots and commanders do when employing thier weapons. Look out for friendlies when you fire.

Look guys, it's true. If you get punished for a TK, nothing happens. The negative score you see is what you get for TKing. If you TK someone, and they don't punish, you still lose points.
Have one of your friends TK you on an EA server six or seven times, and punish them everytime. I promise you that the server will auto-kick them for TKing. If you don't punish them, they will not be kicked by the server bot for TKing.

Thats just not true! Each TK gives you -4 team score. If i killed 10 enemies i'd have 20 points, if I then TKed 3 times and was punished i'd have 8 points, 20 combat and -12 team.

So you agree, you do get points taken away for TKing!
