i use an xbox controller....i would tap the torque to reach 25-30% while i am and a 25-35 degree roll toward the direction u want to straf and have the copter tilted forward 20-35 degrees to keep the nose point AND rudder left or right opposite the direction of roll.....

what's the trick for doing it in a BlackHawk. that is you'll in the blackhawk by yourself, position yourself over a heavily enemy populated area, jump in the minigun seat and leave the controls. then the BH goes into a controlled spin and you just blast away.

I've seen this technique used for devastating effect a few times now. No AT can hit because of the spin, no jeeps last long because they are the first to me targeted.

It seems to be very affective on wake island and mash city.

yea, but suppose that u want to strafe another helicopter, how would u circle that. Just think about the earth revolving around the sun, and the enemy is the sun.

No problem. (I use kybd/mouse to control) I would just feather the throttle, right/left turn key and mouse movements a little differently to accomodate for the other helo's movements. But making a very fast circle (like a ground target) would be harder or maybe impossible. So the circle may be a little slower but otherwise doable.

If you are focusing on the other helo it will feel as if it is standing still as you move around it. Just like the sun/earth model you mention.
