A good gunner isn't usually the reason for a sucessful black hawk, it is a good pilot. Dudes like that aren't thinking "I want to get in so I can get more points than that guy" They are thinking "I want to get in so I can be the one to get the points." Concepts that are so close yet so far.

Pyura, I have 5 times your global score and only 3 times your TK's. Having 160 hrs in a jet, youre not only gonna get TK's from the air, but from guys standing on the runway. I have cut down on my airborne TK's alot as I gained experience. My airborne TK's now come mostly from erratic missles. I mostly stick with guns now. Another guy mentioned that I play Karkand alot. Thats where I can try to get alot of medals. I tried forever to get 25 heals and 37 explosives....still hadnt gotten it though.....looks like more Karkand.
I doubt I will ever succumb to TKing for a vehicle, but there are times where its tempting.

Just remember there are alot of kids playing this and that means alot of crazy hormones and pent up aggression just waiting to be released........

Yes there is something you can do about it. I do it all the time:
I leave the darn server, and find another one with more mature people in it.
If I don't like the people on the server, and I don't enjoy playing with them then why should I stay there, and give myself and others a hard time?
I'll just leave and go have fun somewhere else. There are plenty of servers to chose from.

I think that the major problem is people taking things way too personal.

Your solution is a crock of ****. You do realize that the game takes an ungodly amount of time to load and that most people have crap computers to begin with? Take it from me: Just TK people for vehicles and give the gift that keeps on giving.

I have never TKed a person for a vehicle nor have I given a TK...ie...stand in front of a jet. I hate the idiots who do that crap.

I was playing US on a Wolf server. Mashtur starts up and everyone runs for the blackhawk. I get in as a gunner. Chopper gets full and a dude snipes me out and takes the gunner spot. The chopper stays up the entire round and he ends up getting 123 points. So it looks like 1 TK gave him the gold. It seems that this trend is happening more and more. I have gotten TKed out of vehicles more in the past month than my whole time combined.

Its a TK festival out there and Im seriously considering joining the party.

Some guy robbed a bank in my area last week and hasn't been caught. He made a lot of money with no fall out.

Well I tried that once except I robbed a gas station. I found out they didn't have alot of money at this time(I just found out I didnt ask). Anyways I stole 1 twinky and got away with it. The guy at the register was looking away(I didn't pull out a gun he just looked away) so that was my first steal. I got away with it too! I'm so bad man. The bad part was that this little kid came up to me and kicked my in the balls and stole the twinky. I have yet to find this child.

Which is why the stats dont impress me. I think the helo implementation ruined the stats. It kinda made them worthless. 1.2 would be SO cool with a total wipe out of the stats. Let's start fresh with a relatively even handed set of classes/vehicles.

I punished my first TK on purpose yesterday (have accidently punished once or twice when I meant to forgive). Guy spawned inside of a building a second or two before I did and shot me with a shotgun at close range. It was either a one hit kill or he double pumped, but I couldn't forgive it because it was just plain idiocy. I can understand he might have been spooked but dude, it's a spawn point. Damn, I even feel a little guilty when I happen to be moving through the enemy's spawn point and suddenly a bad guy materializes with his back to me. But I have to kill him; either him or me.

Personally I think the TK punishment system is stupid. You should automatically be punished if you kill your teammate if his nametag is up or you've been looking at him for 3 seconds or longer (or whatever length of time), or if you do it with an frequency that suggests it's on purpose, or you're just really bad, you're kicked. The frequency would be set by the server. It should be impossible to get punished because someone runs into your tank, or steps on a mine you laid out ten minutes ago.

Although if you lay a mine within so many yards of your own teams vehicle spawn point then a punishment is fitting.
