I don't fly, but one of my pilots has his transparency WAAAAAYYY down on the larger map, and basically will fly around with that map up all the time....helps a lot with TK's, and when someone spots an enemy jet, he's able to see it and head after it...

I can easily use the mini map gunning or piloting a helicopter, you can also easily control your speed, however think about this. Your in a jet, your speed is very fast so usually the icons on the minimap go poof in almost no time. You see an enemy tank whats your first idea? Destroy it right? well you have to swoop down but not too far down, you have to make it doesnt shoot at you, there is no AA around and that you won't be blown up by your own bombs. Helicopter is understandable. Now tk's...I think people need some forgiving or common sense lessons, the ones that run over friendly mines and punish need to have their head knocked in as well as the ones that will run right into your line of fire,I admit I'v done similar to go heal or revive a fallen team mate however I went prone and crawled UNDER the persons line of fire, probably served as nice human shield diversion as well.

I have gunned helicopters and people ran DIRECTLY into my line of fire because they wanted the kill with a knife, they punished me and called me a jackass, "Ah yes my fault you don't have common sense so punish me..."

I have run over team mate mines only once on 'purpose' and that was because I hit alt (which turns off the icons on the field) so I didn't see the x's,well they were in a shaded area so I didn't see them at all,I wasn't looking either because we were on friendly territory, however I saw the 'teamkill' and apologized and forgave, most 'team mates' won't be so nice.

Then of course you got the helicopter pilots who get hit by friendly planes or friendly helicopters that get hit by stray AA missiles *punish* "Noob!" 'I can't control the damn things, why are you mad at me? Its not like I pointed it at you,but next time I will'

Then we have the good ole "throw the grenade and watch your team mate run for the ball like a dog" trick where you,of course, get punished for that. Imo Dice reaaally messed up when they put the punish option in,they should have known that people are not generous enough to forgive, most anyway,I do remember there was one round where I TK'd this one guy twice by accident..both times he forgave and was very calm,I apologized and yaknow what he said? "No problem man, accidents happen :)".

But seriously,if they want to 'patch' the game they should fix that damn red name bug issue.

I do my best to use the mini-map and/or full-screen map when piloting. If I see a few friendlies, I don't bomb or strafe. If I see one friendly, I may risk it.

If you're in the bomber, just have your co-pilot do the work..no collateral damage.

As far as somebody saying 'I was in a US jet, you showed as red'...I've NEVER heard of that happening...ever.

              wtf?

What's so damn hard about that?
