ok this is the best excuse for tking i've seen so far.

a guy who was on chinese team got in a F18 on wake island cuz the airfield got captured by US. so he started shooting and bombing ground units. 10 seconds later, he got 2 tks w/o a single kill. so he team-said "sorry i'm in an american jet, so u guys show up as enemies to me."

Have you ever tried using a mino map, zooming in and out to get a view of the area while playing a jet witha coltroller or joystick while bombing and watching for enamy fire? Its hella hard, i spend most my time dodging fire and lineing up on a bombing run. Also my mini map is zoomed out so i can get a barring on where i am, when zoomed out that far you dont see units.

although u guy's posts are off topic, anyways, i do press capslock to view the map on squad screen from time to time when flying jets. so i know where my teammates generally are

does that really happen? allied infantry shows up as enemies? or by ground units do you mean tanks and apcs?

The bombing hud is EXTREMELY crappy. 90% of my TKs in jets are because stuff shows up as an enemy vehicle. I use my minimap most of the time, but I can't always do it when you're going to pass the target in a half of a second. The other 10% of my TKs are jet kissing losers.

Punishing a jet because they tked you is understandable.

1. You walked all the way over to where you were going only to be tked.
2. It's not your fault for standing there. Nor did you run into the bomb intentionally (like all those jerks who see a mine/claymore/grenade and go out of their way to set it off).
3. Jet has a mini map.
4. It's irritating to go back all the way from the spawn.

The Red bug glitch is the best excuse hands down :P

Yes there is a bug that shows your teammates show up in red and enemy as blue,now for it showing up on the mini map like that i dont really know

Oh hell no. I will TK you every time. I'll cut the commander/arty some slack. I'll cut the engineer slack (it'll usually be my fault for not looking). But I'll TK a jet's bombs every time. Why? Because due to the way the game is designed, air power is invincible. The only reason you're in the jet/helo is because you can rack up major points with impunity.

Ever notice that no one lines up to get in the humvees? Or those little off road vehicle thingys (whatever they are called)? Do people line up to get in the APC? No. They line up for/wait for/sometimes TK a mate just for a chance to go in the air. They do this because the game is flawed.

Dropping bombs continously does not take skill. Avoiding dropping one on me does. -8 to you baby.

How do you know I am not playing AT? So I need to basically stay off the map so you can play target practice? Get down in the trenches and fight like a real man. Until EA fixes the air, I have no respect for the guys up there.

I never punish, but if you'd kill me and two of my friends because we were trying to take out a tank I'd punish you without even blinking.

lol ok guys, the idea of this thread is about a joke. although it did happen, i didnt make it up. but it's hilarious when he said he tked his teammates cuz he was in an F18 which is an american jet, so all his teammates show up as enemies on his hud. it has nothing to do with red tag bug or something.

ok now the joke is not funny anymore.
