so if anyone gets lucky and manages to hit your tank in the "sweet spot" and get a one-shot kill, they get banned? seems like your server has a bunch of admins that are poor sports. FYI, there is a "sweet spot" that nobody so far has been able to replicate consistently.

So what does this all boil down to? In the end it's pretty simple. This supposed "magical" sweet spot does not exist.

What we know:

No one can say with ANY actual proof they did it. This would imply that the supposed one shot kill was indeed a fluke in the game physics and not a true defensive or offensive maneuver that can be reproduced regularly or with any form of accuracy.

Even those who admit to being able to do it cannot do it regularly nor can they define what they do in order to achieve this effect.

Those who admit to being able to do it claim that it can be done in different ways and in different areas of the tanks.

No one has said they can duplicate the one shot kill in-game during a battle.


What does this leave us with? The same thing we had before, which is nothing. To pursue this fantasy anymore would be futile. In almost 100 hours in a tank, I have been killed by a one shot kill maybe once. That was subjective and could have mitigating factors which imply it was not a single shot that did it. I am still not convinced it was a one shot kill.

This does not boil down to a trick or a skill thing. This is a luck thing and should be written off as such.

playing 100 hours in tank doesn't enable you to simply written off the existence of such skill in a condescending manner, although being a server admin surely grant you the right to kick whoever you choose.

I can usually only get it when a tank is sitting still. I have gotten it on moving tanks, but that is a combination of luck and a good shot.

It can be done in different ways, cuz it does not have to do with a particular part of the tank being weaker than others, for the most part. Most people just don't seem to get that part, that is probably one of the biggest hints out there without actually getting crayons out and drawing a picture.

I have pulled it off in pubs, but alot of it is what I said before, the right circumstances and the right timing for a shot.

Never said it did. Does everyone around here attack anyone for the hell of it or what? On another note, please refrain from making comments on how I run my server. Many peeps around here play on it and it is run in a fair manner. Speaking to how I run it without playing on it is kinda silly. It's probably one of the best servers you could play at.

Now I will admit that playing in a tank for 100 hours does not give me infinite wisdom on the subject, but I would say I have an above average understanding of the mechanics of the way it takes damage and how to kill things with it. That being said, I feel IMHO that this one shot kill thing does not exist. It is my opinion and you can give it whatever weight you wish, but I would take the word of someone who uses a weapon or vehicle almost all the time as an somewhat expert on the subject.

There are plenty of times I have died and not been sure what killed me. So who knows.

dude, you just kicked somebody because they had a score 3 times better than anyone else on your server and because they got you with a one shot kill which could very well have been luck for all you know. ever thought that there may be tankers out there that are better than you? having just 100 hours under your belt doesn't mean you've seen everything.

as for the one-shot kill, i've pulled it off on more than one occasion, just haven't figured out why and how. the impression that i get from your posts is that you think you're the best out there, and if you cannot do it, it doesn't exist and if somebody does it to you, they're "fishy" and need to get banned from your server.

Never said any of those things. Let's clarify. I NEVER said I was the best. I do not think I am the best. I kicked the guy for 3 reasons, but it does not matter. Personal comments about me thiking im the best when I never stated that are kinda weak dont you think?

Also. if I thought I was the best, I would not pull punches. I would say it. I am not the best.
