I'll give you this much of a hint, it isn't about a hitting the 'specific' spot, but more about how you place your shot.
Srry for double post, but what do u mean by how u place ur shot. And why can't u just tell us how u do it, it's not like we're all gonna die if u tell us lol.
I've had times where I've been in a healthy tank, and then killed by a single tank shell.
But if the designers wanted to go after realism they could've done it, I mean in real life tanks have the ability to blow up others tank with 1 hit dont they?

Ya, definetly, just look at videos with like a M1 in the gulf war. THe APFSDS just ripped apart enemy tanks, one M1 took on two T-72s and destroyed them both while barely being scratched themselves.
Ive posted earlier and said were the one shot spot is, Try it out but be patiant you might fire 100 times before it works.
The protaganist of this argument may know more spots and if the way the 1 shot works is by simultaniasly hitting 2 areas of the tank at once(with a single round), then it might be easier to achieve on slopes and gradiants - it can be done on level ground but is very very hard to hit.
I havn't tried on hills so I dont no if it is then easier.
thx to the kind man with the pic. here it is, as i promised.
think of the turret as the top of a tunnel and the hull of the tank as the bottom. at the end of that tunnel is a magic button which will splode the tank at full health.
this means that to hit that spot, the enemy tank needs to have its turret pointed straight ahead (or pretty much) as to line up the top and bottom of the tunnel, and you need to fire your shell also from directly in front, as to travel down that tunnel.
thats the best way i can explain it, ive done it about a dozen times but im not saying i showied it perfectly, ah well make the most of it everyone
If what 18zulu says is true, this looks like a bug in the supposed ricochet of projectiles that are supposed to be in the game. The angle the projectile would reflect at would roughly put it into the crack between the turret and the body of the tank. The game is simply going to register this as a hit, and any hit under the turret registers as a hit, and at that angle, it's likely to hit the thing one more time. The game would register that as 3 seperate hits all in a row.
That actually makes sense to me and would explain the one shot kill spots on the front of the m1a2 & t90. Its the same thing with the t90 when you shot it in the right spot the tank bounces back and to the side. And there's a distinctive sound which sounds like the tanks has been hit twice like **** **** . Although the spot i did indicate even without the double hit are weak and can take up to 2/3 of the tanks health. But there a big difference between the way the front spots and the back spot works the front spot will set the tank on fire then blow up the back spot near the vent there's definitely no ricochet (**** **** noise or bouncing back and to the side) it just instantly blows up.
So maybe the front spots are just a fluke and down to the ricochet but there's definitely something about the back spot near the vent.
p.s. I'm going to try experimenting with this for the next couple of hours on an empty server your all more than welcome to join me xfire = zulukiller .
EDIT LMFAO d.i.n.k. without the dots is a bad word LMFAO WHY
The M1A2 beats the T90 in the ground, ive watch a show on the military channel talking about all the different kinds of tank and the M1A2 was the most powerful the its competition, the T series tank aka T90 etc etc came between 5th and 10th place cant really remember
I spent 10 Years as Tank Commander in the Kings Royal Hussars, the best 2 tanks in the world are the Abrahams and Chally 2. Their greatest strenghts are down to Chobam armour and the accuracy of the Laser guided Range finding and Auto elevation systems.
I believe the French Le Clerc is probably right up there with the Abrams and Challenger, maybe even a bit better. But as I said before, the Challenger and Le Clerc would lose in a tank match against the Abrams though, we have more of our tanks to throw at them than they do.
That show that the guy watched on the military channel, the reason why the Abrams came out #1 was because of it being almost as good as some of the other tanks mentioned in this thread and has a higher production volume. If they took out the production part of that rating, the Abrams would probably sit at #3 by itself or tied with another tank for #3.
I'm not saying that **** cuz I am not American either, it's just mainly fact that there are some tanks that are better than ours. Alot of that is due to the fact that they were created more recently and take advantage of progress in current technology. But, we make up for that in sheer numbers and one of the highest amount of times given to crew training.
Now I havn't found the sweet spot on a tank, nor even have gotten a "full armored/health" tank to blow up in 2 shots, but it doesn't keep me from believing.

Ya, i agree with ur last statement, too many people are overpatriotic. Sometimes u just have to accept the fact that u, or a group that u are a part of is not the best in the world.
