There is a weak spot on the Abrahams. Don't know if there is one on the others.. DICE is "funny" that way. The mighty Abrahams taken out in one shot by an old pos MEC tank. Much like it was in B1942 where you could take out the arguably best tank of WW2 (The T34-85 with one shot in the hatch).
The weakspot of the Abrahams is most likely either in the lower part of the belt on the left side (with it's front towards you), in the crack between the turret and the chassis or it could be the top hatch. The tanks in BF1942 also had weakspots in the lower front side of the belt. Especially the Tiger (LOL) and the M-10.Comment

I know this isn't strictly relevant but when I was playing a few nights ago a top a building in a deserted down, I was being stalked by a tank (I have no idea why he didn't have bigger fish to fry then a sniper) but anyway I was a top a building, watching him pull up just below me so naturally I threw a hand grenade through the top hatch, hoping it might actually do something, but nada, it just dented his ego and he started shooting like mad eventually clipping the wall killing me with splash damage the lucky bugger.
I'm extremely sceptical about this one shot kill thing, I thought I stood a better chance with a grenade down the hatch, but no.
I'll believe it when I see it, oh and lastly the creator of this post? WTF are you smoking and can I have some?Comment

This subject has been discussed million times since the game's release.
That "one shot spot" does not exist. Do not waste your time guys. IT DOES NOT EXIST.
It happened in almost every game where you see two or three guys hitting the same tank/APC at the same moment from different directions. The guy in the tank think it was one shot which killed him but it was actually two or three.
Do not waste your time.
I once took a blackhawk with a sniper rifle. It was completely healthy. I am not kidding! Can you do it again? NO! It counted as if I killed the two guys in it with "blackhawk"
One guy posted a screenshot in whish he clearly killed another guy with a smoke grenade. The smoke grenade has ZERO damage. It does not kill. Can he do that again? NO! it just happened that the guy died for some other reason at the moment the smoke grenade touched him.Comment

I think the top of the turret where there are two panels at the back. These panels are blow-off panels to save the crews inside. I anti-tank missile can penetrade from the top; then, I think it doable. That area should be vunerable. Also the space between turret and chassis at the back should be vunerable.Comment

I have been playing for alot of hours and I have gotten a taste of the 1 shot kill. I tried to recreate through talking with the other tanker what he did for the kill.....he had no idea. He thought I was damaged allready. Ill lay it out how it happened.
I was MEC on Karkypoo, I had come up to the 2nd flag in, met an APC, battled and destroyed it. I then backed up, fully repaired. When I came back out, there was a tank at my 2 o'clock....I got the first shot off.....He fired 1 shell, I had just enough time to look at the health bar.....it was down to 1 bar.....I had no time to get out and blew up. I saw a hit model where the tank has something like 20 bars of health (someone correct me if Im wrong). If thats true, then that 1 tank shell took off 19 bars. I could not recreate it in singleplayer though.
In all my hours of play, this has only happened once, and it was 2 days ago. Its kinda like bigfoot, you dont believe it till you see it.Comment
