I think there needs to be a TK AI system in place.

1) If your team mate looks at you and you aren't in the middle of a heavy battle, and he shoots you after a pause, more than once, you should be allowed to kill him to save yourself.

2) If you slow down your tank and the guy still runs into it and dies, you should be free from a tk.

3) If more then 10 seconds pass between the time someone lays a landmine or claymore, and you die, no tk.

4) Now this one could be exploited, and honestly I have no idea how it'd be controlled automatically, but if you say (voip) or type out the person's name, and appologize immediately (therefore putting yourself at risk of death because you stop playing to type/talk/read the name), you should be forgiven.

5) If someone is shooting and you run in front of their bullets no TK.

6) If a team mate is being killed and in trying to save them you kill them, you shouldn't be punished as long as the first 3 bullets hit the enemy.

Add to these as you wish.

Edit: I only just started playing online, but I find myself more willing to wait a second after seeing someone before I shoot them so that I don't accidently TK. If the red name doesn't show up, I hardly ever shoot (unless they're attacking me, in which case they deserve it whether friendly or foe). Unfortunately this leads to me being killed more often then not. And since I'm moved midgame by the server so often, trying to remember which uniform is my enemies is slightly difficult.

What does that have to do with this topic?

A lot of people don't know how to repair/rearm their planes properly, you dont have to fly over the airstrip, you just have to fly over the small building or hut, thats about the size of the UAV building and stands by each airstrip. The closer you are to it, the more you'll be repaired/re armed.

THat u can throw stuff (like nades) farther when u jump. Just remember, u have to time the jump right with nades, cause pulling the pin takes time.

bombers bombs take out comm assets easily. planes tv guided destroys an asset even with near miss. im amazed that people dont know it. no specop required, just few bombing runs and enemy has no uav/scan/arty

you CANT harm a tank/apc with your stupid handguns (I've seen a lot a of ppl shooting at tanks with their handguns/shotguns... recently ^^)

I do that sometimes, but mostly I do it to get their attention away from the Spec Op's guy running to plant C4's on them :laugh: And it usually works, specially if you have the machine gun blasting away at them they tend to turn to you leaving them wide open for Anti-tanks and Spec Op guys to blow them away

Ya, i do that with noobnades or nades though, get the little damage direction thingy to point backwards, then they look backwards for me while a spec ops goes in for the kill.

when you fly aircraft(helo's and planes) you an press (default setting) "left control" and you can have a free look to see if someone is behind you or to see if someone is trying to get in. very good useful tactic, especially when in a dogfight and noone has spotted out your enemy plane just look behind ya to see where he is.

Ah, i should do that, i still keep it at F11, i really should make it some useful button like "shift", "ctrl" or something easy to use, or actually, i should probably make it joystick button number 5.

You can't blow up armor with a first aid pack, but you can scare the driver out of the vehicle by thinking you have C4. I love doing that, and especially, right as they jump out - they get to hear "Get First Aid, Here!" right before I kill them with their own tank/APC.

God I love that. I laugh my ass off everytime I see it happen.

You can actually forgive a TK by pressing PgDown.

Amen brother! I had a guy today that punished me after he ran under my tank. I saw the "you've been punished..." message pop up almost before his body hit the ground. Being a medic, I still jumped out and revived the idiot, hoping that maybe, just maybe he'll pause for a few seconds at least before hitting "page up" (or not punish at all) the next time he does something stupid like that and causes his own death. :|:

I have done it about 2 times in ALL my time online, both from the building behind the Hotel flag on Karkand... not exactly a recommended tactic

Did you know you can actually get headshots with the M95 if you try a little harder and wait a half second?

Did you also know that if your standing on the runway waiting for a plane while your team is trying to actually win the map ths just means your an Ass?
