Reduce mipmapping in your GPU's properties, and reduce AntiAliasing in BF2 options to 0. See how that runs...

how can i reduce my mipmapping in my GPU's properties? sorry about the questions.. thank you very much for the help

What video card do you have?

If it's nVidia, then right-click your desktop and select 'Nvidia display' and then select your monitor from the pop-up menu.

Click 'Performance and Quality Settings'.

Select 'Advanced Settings' from the 'View' dropdown.

Check 'Force Mipmaps' and select 'None'.

If you know what you're doing here, you can set it up so that this change is only enabled when you load BF2.exe by adding a profile.

i just fixed my 1.6 counter-strike.. it was having the same problems like battlefield2.. it would lag spike like crazy and i guess experience alot of loss and chokes, but after much experimenting i finally found the right in-game network settings like rate, cl_rate, cl_cmdrate, cl_cmdbackup, etc.. are there console commands like that in battlefield 2? if so, can those commands fix my problems? do you think it could be my comcast cable internet (piece of sh** connection)? would reinstalling the game do anything?

the wierd thing is that my game ran totally fine up until 1.03 i believe.. (the patch before 1.12) so i just stop playing at home totally and i played at the local pc place..

btw if that mipmapping is for the video card settings then i don't think i should touch that.. my fps seems the same.. i don't experience any video lag spikes or anything like that.. just internet lag spikes.. i tried read the tweak guide, i tried the TCPoptimizer, and fixing my registry.. anything else i can try that might fix my game?
