amd 3200 @ 2.5ghz

2 gigs (1x2) G skill ddr 400 2-3-2-5 @ ddr500 3-3-3-5

dfi lanparty nf4 sli

7800gtx (reference board settings 430/1200)

80 gig barracuda (which needs replacing)

no lag at all in BF2 with the 2 gigs
30 min 20 sec 32m super si...

7600 in 3dmark (8500 at 490/1300)

i dunno how old you are... but if you plan things out and buy things at the right time it isnt going to cost you 3104859 dollars... and no my mom didnt buy mine i saved up for quite a while working on a PX at Fort Drum

Your right. You dont know how old I am... nor did I imply to know anyone elses age. So I fail to see the reference you drive with this.

You are also right that it didnt cost me 3104859 (Not sure where you got that number )

And did I specify your mother bought yours?

No. I made generalizations based on past experiences with these type posts.

This "Post your computer spec" thread is a dime a dozen on these forums and is usually started by some person who just spent entirely too much for their system (Not all cases, but most) or had a parent buy them one, and ocasionaly by someone who actually built their own and has a really nice system. And as you did not start this thread.... you can read into the rest of it.

The proper title for this thread should be.
I think my computer is better than yours and here are my stats and I get great performance out of it.

Or.. They can search for another thread (And there are a lot) that post specs and add theirs to it.

But I am glad you specified you work at the Post Exchange at Drum because just stating you worked for it wouldnt have been enough. But having shopped at Drum's PX before... Well I guess I dont have anywhere to go with that.

Mine didn't cost me much, went on the cheap.

only about $1500AU including monitor and accessories (Old PC was too old to salvage any bits.)

Saved for all of a month to get it.

Anyways, tis not l337, tis n0t crapz0r.

AMD 64 3000+
1gb DDR400 Dual Chan Ram
160gb 8mb Cache HDD
Saphhire x800pro AGP
Realtek crapz0r on board sound.

All settings on high except dynamic lighting and shadows, which are on medium. Res is 1280x1024@85mhz

Pulls a rather mediocre 40-60fps on average with the occassional drop to the 25 mark
