The kiowa would've made more sense, I heard that in Iraq the kiowa operates in support of infantry and armor more often than apaches do and it can work more closely with ground troops.

but what other helicopter would any of the other armies in BF2 have that would be equivalent to the Little Bird and Kiowa?

Desert Combat used the Gazelle, but I think it's smaller than the Kiowa.

agreed, You should be able to put a 50. right in the intake and just take it out... or shoot the gas tank!

and this is pointless for us to argue about what heli should go where and why... but we can always hope for the mods, that they listen to the "Public" and make the good helis and stuff!

Chinooks anyone?? 8 men in the back, 2 .50 cals on the side, make it so people can zip line down a grappling hook out the back!! Make a proper transport chopper, be excellent in maps like War Lord for dropping squads in over flasg ect.
I also loved the feature in BFV where ou could airlift vehicles with this bad boy!!

TBH, I love the apache as it has a greater splash damage for more effective infantry killing. I agree that it would have been very nice to have the little bird, hopefully with dual miniguns.

Give it to the MEC or PR. Balance things out. Bloody Blackhawk.
I was suprsied it was in SF. This chopper should definetly be in the game.

I know a little bird would make a hell of a lot more sense for the US, and probly the Hind would make sense for the MEC if it was more geared towards being a transport instead of an AT chopper...

Ya a hind in real life is a transport helicopter with the ability to attack ground forces. Since the USSR didn't want attack helis, they just made the hind a transport heli, it kinda evolved into a crossbreed. Which is why the Mi-28 Havoc is considered the first actual attack heli from russia/ussr.
