I never said it was impossible, I just said that for the ribbon, the number of kills needed does not have to be in a row. IAR stands for "In A Round". I only got just over 20 kills the match I got my armored service ribbon, and I died 4 times. Obviously most of my kills were with armor, but if it was in a row, I would not have gotten the ribbon.

without doubt you dont need to have them streaked....

if you doubt this just look at my stats i have a longest death streak of 18 yet i have the aerial service ribbon (19 kills IAR)...

IAR is definitely "In A Round". If you need a streak then that is exactly what it will say (e.g. Combat Action Ribbon and Legion of Merit Ribbon need "Global: 10 best kill streak"). The CAR also needs "IAR: 18 kills" which would make no sense if it meant "in a row".
