Never had a problem myself, playing 1600 by 1200 on all high settings.

Great post! I was trying to say the same thing in another thread, saying how i can run FEAR and HL2 at high settings at BF2 would tear like hell. Of course some kid goes, "It must be you cuz mine runs fine". Sorry pal, take a look at my system specs, I don't think so
Anyways, yeah I turned things down and I'm ok with it too. Atl east it runs smoother now and honestly, most of the things you can't even notice a difference between medium or high.Comment

Yeah you are probably right. But to tell someone with a 7800gtx and 2 gigs of ram that they should turn their graphics down and avoid servers with a lot people won't please many.Comment

That's the whole point. People shouldn't HAVE to do that with the kind of machines that a lot of us have. But nonetheless, we still have to do it. It's not our fault. It's EA/Dice's fault. These forums are becoming a vicious cycle of complain about the game/try to get help on the forums/realize that nobody knows how to fix it/realize that you just have to turn your settings down. It is ridiculous, but once you accept this and just start enjoying the game for what it is again, you will be a lot happier about your purchase. Let EA worry about how they're going to make the graphics work right. It's not your problem except that you spent a lot of money on a gaming rig.Comment

I've had it for a few months now. Got it off newegg.com on a weekend sale for 290$. It comes overclocked and runs like a champ. Have had no problems, using the drivers that shipped with it.Originally posted by DomicinatorComment

just get a 7800 gt or gtx. I went from a 6800 gt to a 7800 gtx and makes a huge diff in framerate and smoothness. I can now play warlord without any problems at 1240x1078 all high. 6800 gt struggled thoughComment

I only have an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 AGP card (below spec requirement)
AMD 3200+ processor and 1 gig DDR 3200 memory (probably low end system)
And I can run it OK.....I will admit I get shot when I got the jump on somebody, but blame my video card for that. Anyway my game has only crashed twice...and one of those times was in regular BF2. I have a little lag in some buildings, but not all and SF installed with no problems so I don't know why so many of you are complaining...it is still a fun game.Comment

#1 all these people bitch about EA sucking.... if they do, than dont play,it would just benifit the players who still like the game.
#2 poor performance isnt always the comp. it could be the internet connection or the server even.
#3 i play on all high and all i have is 2 gigs and one 7800gt with an amd 3800 venice, so people who comaplin and say they have awesome systems obviously are lying or have put it together poorly.Comment
