the night maps. Not only does it look horrible, but when you put on the night vision goggles, all it does is give everything that had darkness a green shade to it. It doesnt lighten up or clear out ANY of the darkness. This is a serious porblem, especially for someone like me who playes sniper a lot. Is there any word from EA saying they would get this fixed in the upcomming patch?

Help the team? I didnt spend 80+ dollars for both battlefield 2 and special forces to help people. I did it to have fun, and sniping is fun to me. And who honestly cares about winning a round anyway? The only one that benefits is the commander, and most of the time, they dont even command. Screw them, I do what I want!Comment

every video game with night-vision turns the darkness green! In real life this is what it does. Also i admit it isn't the best night-vision it still can help in very dark areasComment

The darkness may not look any lighter, but it makes the people glow so it is harder for them to hide in the shadows.Comment

I won't attack snipers but it's very rare that they're useful to the team. Still, I respect the lone wolf types, and it's their money and their game. It's moot to mention but if half of those snipers experienced some intense cqc action with a good squad they'd probably drop those rifles for good. :)
As for NV it is poor. I don't think it's worth complaining about, because unlike weapon unlocks and balancing, EA is never going to change it.Comment

and who are you to criticise how he plays his game? there was no disclaimer on the packaging when he bought the game saying he had to be a team player. if he wants to be a lone wolf, let him be. a sniper is generally a lone wolf position, you cant be chasing around assault or special forces blokes with a sniper rifle in your hand. if ea wanted everyone to be teamplayers, they wouldnt have included snipers in the game. why dont you provide your well needed input somewhere else.Originally posted by fvbyfvComment
