FYI - I got veteran Grappling hook - and it DID NOT POP UP IN GAME. I just happened to notice it in my stats.

I got it at 3000 - not 3500 like the zip line....actually 3002.

Now...the tactical nade....that one eludes me still at 3163....

just roll the mouse over the picture of the badge and it tells you how many you have, need to go and gives you a percentage of completion

Must be awarded backend then. How strange, it seems like a lot of the SF awards were pretty much fubared. We got service ribbons that are awarded backend but do not appear in your BFHQ collection. An aviator ribbon for an expansion pack that has no jets. Medals that require 100 years to get. No stat tracking in your BFHQ for tactical, zipline, and grappling hook usage.

Talk about rushing a game. This stuff seems like the easy part to get right. What are these guys smoking?

I said that because you were saying a bad thing to EA/DICE for making it hard for the medals. I answered it as if they made it easy, you people wouldn't have anything to work to as you'd already have all the medals. You can view your SF medals by press the OVER button where it says battlefield medals in the stats tabs! It just bugs me that you people say "oh, this game is bad because it takes to long to get medals". FYI, this game is a FPS, the stats is just something to reflect on. The game is about killing people, not bout winning awards that mean really nothin to everyone else.

Don't get me wrong, I like the ranks and medals are cool but when peoples only goal is to get them, it takes away from having some good soldiers on the field.
