BF2 Metropolitan warfare.
Civilian vigilantes vs military. People hiding in skyscrapers, news choppers fitted with makeshift guns.

I think Dice Sweden ought to redo all of Dice Canada's crappy work like BF:V and SF.

Or, when technology increases alot more. Release all of the games in an updated engine with better graphics. I'd buy it for all of my friends.

BF3... Future conflict? Full of weapons that are only concepts now.

Dangerous territory as it has been done before.

Napoleonic era war could be fun. You include the American Revolutionary war in there with the whole French, Prussian, British, Spanish fighting thing...

Technological innovations could included mounted (as in horses) fighting and enhanced melee combat... 128 player servers?

Or how about All ages of conflict with maps of different eras. Map one is WW2, map two is Korea, map three is Vietnam, map four the Falklands, map 5 Iraq round 1, map 5 Iraq round 2 and so on... That would be a blast...

What about BF@: Naval Warfare!!! You could have a fleet of ships with a carrier, battleships, destroyers and even landing craft for ground troops. I almost forgot, you could even give the defending team sub's with torpedoes. The commander could be on the carrier giving orders. You could still have tanks and vehicles. One force defending an island or whatever event you can think of in history and that would really force teamwork. I'm thinking WW2 vintage or just a made up map or situation. You could even keep the planes that the whores love! Just my opinion! I'd buy that before SF's!!!

I completely forgot about the defguns and battleship guns in BF1942. This is an idea, but I wouldn't buy it.

That would kinda be sweet too! If you managed to destroy the carrier your side would win or get double the tickets. And now that I thinking of it have realistic sounds of the weapons like project reality mods. I have played there Joint Ops: Reality Mod and it was pretty cool! Oh, I almost forgot, EA or DICE I want money for my ideas! Peace and Chicken Grease, Meat spinners!!!!!

Yeah I truly don't think that there CAN be a BF3...going to far in the Futur will be like Planetside and Tribes and going into the Past will feel like a step back...

a MMORPG. I'll bet my ass on it.

More likly an MMOFPS, where you have like 400-1000 people on a server and have to pay to play online due to the fact no one else will run a server that could handle that amount of people.

Have a proper war.

MY 2 cents:..it's been mentioned before somewhere else,but I think the best will be if they develop BF2 even in a larger scale;let me explain.
When you start your accaunt, you can choose beetwen:
-ground (ARMY,USMC whatever)
-air (AIRFORCE)
-sea (NAVY)
Within those forces,you can choose the class you want to play;
-ground...same classes as now(so developers at DICE dosent have to work that much:laugh: )
-air...pilot of fighter,recon,chopper,bomber,anti-submarine....
-sea..ships,submarine,carriers,landingcrafts ecc...

Coordinating all this,one commander EACH,will have to study a plan and execute it TEAMWORKING with the others.


So USMC will need sailors to be tranported to land,and pilots to give them air cover...special forces to recon,demolish and destroy enemy COMMANDER assets to smooth out the landing, arty stryke on LASER DESIGNATED targets..ecc

Carriers and other ships will need to be moving costantly to avoid destruction...
well,I'm sure you get the pictures by now.

Offcourse, each "specialty" will required more expertise and training,ex... piloting a chopper will be more difficoult,so stealing it for a sailor will be almost inpossible.

Map size?
Instead of huge maps, why not divide the BIG plan into small indiviual missions,that if sucsessfull(spelling? ) will make the big plan work.

So finnaly the commanders can finnaly sit in a nice and worm tactical room instead of hiding at the map corners,and do what they are supposed to do:command!
