The M203 is cheap because it is not balanced like everything else should be. Not because someone cries after being killed so easily (surprise?) by it.

Its the assult class, its their job to kill, thats all they get points for. So you would think they would have a good weapon, which they do.

The weapons are very well balanced, one of the few things ea/dice did right.

Lol they aren't balanced at all. The nadelauncher and C4 are the best weapons in the whole game, other guns are just crap.

I use the GL mainly for large groups of enemies, or foes who try to hide behind cover. I usually do not have time to draw the GL when i encounter 1 vs 1 situations.

I hate the bloody thing. I only used the assault gun to get my veteran badge, and I did so. I only use the GL for long distance, and I mean long distance.

Tell this story to your grany. And she will laugh, coz even she knows that all the weapons are balanced. It is not easy to aim with GL at middle distances (more than 25m). GL is deadly at close combat, but shotguns, sraw, g3, knife and even shockpads are eadly too. So what you said has no sense

This is true, but do you think this should ruin the fun of the game for everyone else? I'm sure there could be other things, like using smoke grenades to provide cover for your squad, that could help substitute the need for the assault class M203ing everything at ridiculous ranges.

To be honest its not their fault they're abusing even though they do play a part. It's like plane whoring, they can do it even though noone like it.

Basically, you can do anything you want in this game. Its just dodgy pre planning by EA. They hadn't thought that this GL would ruin the game. As long as the GL is like it is, its not they're fault for using it. It's like saying give a guy a weapon to kill someone, a GL and a knife and he picks the GL because its easier to kill someone with it. The weapons are not balanced. They need to make the GL like the Tear gas in SF which is realistic. It's cheap, ruins the game and its the developers fault.

The only person I get upset with when I'm being shot with a GL is myself. For not moving my lazy ass out of there early enough. If I get caught with a GL I wa s either not paying attention, standing out in the open, or hiding at a very dumb place.
So please fellas, getting shot by GL can be avoided, and also don't forget the time the person needs to reload. By the time they have usually put a new nade in their tube I pumped their belly full of DAO-12 high-density led
I get killed plenty by GLs, but also get wasted by tanks, grenades, G36Cs, SRAWs etc. I don't see where the imbalance is since it's the Assault classes only real "fast kill" weapon - and this for the main assault class that does not stand a chance against a tank for example.
Of course it sucks to be naded, but it's part of the game. So instead of complaining we better all start to learn how to deal with it, and find the best measures possible to counter it.
If you go 1 vs 1 Assault against unarmored medic or Spec. do you really believe that the medic or CQC should stand a chance against the primary assault function?

I think the game balance is fine the way it is.

gr8 post alphanut, dats xactly my opinion... wots the point of an anti-infantry kit dats just as weak against infantry as other classes? assault was meant 2 own infantry and suck against armor... dats they way it was meant, maybe assault wasnt ment 2 own using the GL but they were ment 2 own, at least ment 2 own infantry...

if the assault kit were given sum super-incredible anti infantry gun and have no GL ud prolly complain 2: "bohoo the assault-gun is 2 powerful its 2 good, its no fair bohooo!!!"
