    The Medic Kit rules

Anyone else like playing these support types? I love healing up me boys or bringing them back to life in time to blow some enemies away.

The only thing is sometimes it's difficult to get your wounded boys around you since they are too busy concentrating on "pwning" peeps. Very rarely do people respond to me typed-messages that say "Hey, I'm here if you need healing".

Does anyone have any tips on making your presence as a medic more noticeable?

best course of action is just stick with a squad, you arent going to get much action lone wolfing as a med (or supply for that matter)

Well they'll notice you when they need you
I play medic mostly as well. Join a squad, and try to respawn with squad leader when you die. Stay out of the heavy battles and give support fire only when needed. When your commanders is heavily wounded, check the situation and if possible heal him. With other players the same, but don't risk your live for a 'normal'-player, they'll spawn at their leaders spot anyways

Everywhere where you know heavy fights will occur or where teammates will go for cover drop the first aid kits. Don't go running after people who are wounded. Let them call, and they'll spot you! 9 out of 10 if you run to them you get killed. Also keep in mind that many players (incl me) dont like to be revived in an impossible situation to survive anyway (give you points though if you do it for that )

For god knows what reason, this is not always true.

I can't tell you how many time I have been running behind someone as a medic when we are FAR from actual combat, their health is near empty and they STILL don't turn around and get health from me.

Don't they realize that they drastically increase their chances of coming out alive if they are at full strength when going into battle?

Seriously, I don't understand these people, they drive me nuts with their stupidity.

Oh yeah lone wolfing would be retarded as a medic, I'm talking about the fact that most times, especially in pubbies, the rest of the guys are too worried about getting kills and scatter on me, most times leavin me in the dust

PERFECT example of what has been happening to me. Eventually I am like "F" this crap man...I'm not wasting my sprint stamina anymore on this guy

Check that shiny new silver badge on my sig The medic kit is the greatest. It's easy to pull off 75+ points on a 32-player Karkand-only server when you find a good full squad.

I've been playing it a lot lately and really like it. Make sure you take out the guy who killed your team mate before reviving him. :)

You know one HUGE problem I have is not being able to think quick enough in the heat of the moment anf fumbling with my weapon hotkeys - like from medpack to machine gun - I always get confused on which is which. Lot's of fumbling around.

Oh and what in the blazes key is PARACHUTE?! F9 or jusr 9?

What ****es me off more than ANYthing.

Is when i am playing and lonewolf AND squad medics just RUN off when i call for health, or a revive. Sometimes they will turn around and look at me, like "duh im a stupid ****" and then just turn and SPRINT off. I usually take out my pistol and put 2-3 in their leg until they get the picture.

Same with Support, they always run off instead of getting FREE resupply points.

but what peeves me perhaps the most, is when you die and the medics run over to you, and within a 12 second "wounded" time, they shock paddle you 4-5 times only to miss EVERY time.

I totally don't blame you dude. About the shock paddle-miss thing, I was guilty of that like once, that was all it took to realize that "duh" you have to actually be accurate when you do that.

Practice makes perfect. '6' is your paddles, '5' is your pack. '3' is your gun. '9' is your 'chute. You can remap the keys too if it's easier for you.
