I have never understood people's facination with express routes of getting badges. ask yourself this, whats the point of the badge?

- is it to impress your friends?
- is it to impress yourself?

Well by asking for assistance, you will never impress your friend, they will know you were pathedic and you suck, badge or not. Will you impress yourself? no, because you know you didnt earn the badge, it has no meaning. You know EA was successful in brainwashing the kids when they go all crazy, even pays money just to get a badge that servers no purpose what so ever, not even pride.

I'll probably get a lot of flames for asking, but oh well. Can anyone help me get my basic knife? At first I thought getting 5 kills with the pistol was hard, then I figured out I can use it as a sniper rifle. But 7 knife kills is just too much.

I understand you are not asking for someone to let you knife them seven times, but I'll do it if you want. Who cares?

Why are you bitching so much? Get in a squad with a friend, go to the ship area of the carrier and do it. So what, you stat pad to get it. Who cares. At least we can get rid of one more whiner.

I got mine in karkand when i was in a server with tons of medic whores on american. Throw smoke grenades and be very patient... Stand on top of the building near the hotel flag, wait for opponents to come camp with their noob toobs, then fall down behind them with it and try to hit them. It took me at least 5 rounds to get it.

I bet most of the people that are dissing the original poster were the same way when they were trying to get certain badges. They just want some thing to bitch about. If the subject bothers you people so much... don't read it and definately don't reply to the posts. The best way I have found to get badges is to just play and don't try so hard to get one. It feels so much better personally to get one when your not even expecting it. I would have to say Karkand would be the best map for it tho. There are always a lot of people running around there. Lots of corners to hide behind. The stairway by the suburbs would prob be a good place to hide most times. Good luck.

I thot I wouldnt get it either. But...I got on Karkand and in the first try I wuz able to pull it off. Just hang around the main battle area in the beginning. Go over by the canal, where the usmc tries to get thru to ur main base and camp for them. I was running out of time for my first try when I noticed a sniper on the hotel. I naded his claymore and went for him. He was so busy tryin to find me in the scope that he dint see me come up the ladder rite beside hime...BOOM... knifed hime.....less than a minute....heard the mounted tow go off on the other side. Looked over to see a bad guy take out our tank. Jumped over and parachuted rite behind him and....BOOM...knifed him. Just as the announce came up for the badge the round was over. Moral? PERSEVERANCE!!! Hang in there and dont stick ur nec k out too far. Let em come to you!

I got up to 6 an hour ago. Some other guy was using his knife as well, he was good and got me a good 10 times.

Question: Can I not use the knife when I'm sprinting?

i h8 knifing...i remember like a few minutes ago, i was in this server and i see a sniper and i run at him and he fires off all his bullets and it takes him aw hile for him to notice that i want to have a knife duel....so we have our knife duell...and it lasts literally 10 minutes...and its really hard to aim the knife(i was getting like 15 fps) and there has to be precise timing because i usually sprint first and hten u have to be in this certain distance for knifing and we kept charging at each other and furiously slashing at each other and running past each other and we would (like in teh kung fu movies) stop running and wait and then turn and rush each other..kindof a pain to do that
