Anyone want to help me get basic knife?

I'll probably get a lot of flames for asking, but oh well. Can anyone help me get my basic knife? At first I thought getting 5 kills with the pistol was hard, then I figured out I can use it as a sniper rifle. But 7 knife kills is just too much.

BTW, I have read almost every thread on here for tips, etc., for getting basic knife. Nothing is working for me.

Sorry to get your hopes up with a reply but I can't help you. I tried for a while to get my basic knife badge and all I managed was to **** off team members generally be a disservice to my team and look like an idiot. On the plus side I do at least now have a single knife kill. I just wish it wasn't a requirement for First Sergeant cause then I woudn't even care.

I had the same problem, the c4 badge was easy! Knife was a knightmare as I did not play on the knife/pistol servers.

Karkand 24/7 servers with 24/32 players are best, hunt snipers or commanders to get the 7 kills!!! If you play merc, play the commander! then use scan to hunt snipers and commanders (they stay static, near base or near sniper haunts), then crawl up and stab them. Most commanders get a bit arsey after the second or 3 time you stab them, so concentrate on the snipers.

the map where i got my knife badge was Wake. it turned out to be fairly easy, lots of bottle necks, with bushes and hill to spring out from.

Karkand was where I got mine. It was quite difficult, because I was playing only a 40p server. You just gotta play knife often and you will get it soon enough. You will need bunny hopping and dolphin diving in order to get the badge. Not really that hard once you get the hang of it, really.

You have to learn the art of diving on prone people and knifing them. Also you have to pick on medics and the soldiers they have just revived. Use that UAV to your advantage and flank people. Pick up some cheap spawn kills if possible. I can't even remember how I got my expert knife..it was all a blur.

Ahh, yes. Always try to find medics who are reviving their own teammates. Go behind them and prone. After he revived the bugger, nail both of them, then type LOL. As Riggz mentioned, the UAV is important so you can flank and 'dolphin dive' on the infidel.

I tried the sitting in a bush and jumping out (wakejumping?), I must have got nailed about 100 times before I got fed up.

I got my badge by using the alleys next to the hotel in karkand.

You knife them? It's much better to Noob tube them and watch them throw insults for 30 mins.......

Try getting it at Operation Clean Sweep, there are usually a lot of snipers camping in the hills there!

I managed both my basic and vet on karkand, I have yet to get expert knife gave up trying ages ago.

Got all 3 of them on Mashtuur, sweet map to ambush advancing troops going past corners with a dolphin-stab.

Explosive badges are harder IMO. Because of the freaking C4 bug

Well thats clever and stupid asking folk to help get your knife badge, why dont you go the full hogg and ask folk to help get your scores up too.

if anyone is stupid enough to stand there and get knifed again and again there as stupid as you.

My advice delete this thread and ask for advice . isnt that s bad as stat paddling ,

It really isn't that hard. Set out for the first time to get it last night on Wake, 64 player server that was maybe half full. Got my Pistol badge the next round.
