When they find out they are fake they will be really really raged and stuff because you got their hopes up. there will also be wars between the believes and the non believes in your ****.

I just got the official news from the site admin, it was locked because of myg0t spammers and little kids. The moderator said they managed over 1500 topics in one day yesterday...The maturity level there is much lower than here.
Really, we should all know that they aren't going to be hurt by a spam attack on their forums.
The only people "hurt" are the ones that want to use those forums for legit reasons.
I would think this would be obvious to anyone who cares to *think* about it.
Wargimp is right cause the the forums were made by EA so the gaming community can discuss the game, problems, bugs, support issues, just like these forums. EA could care less if anything were to happen to their forums cause its only affecting the rest of the gaming community and since its just spam its not affecting EA as far as problems with their servers or anything. In fact I would think EA would be glad someone is messing up the forums cause now they don't have to listen to any requests and complaints from bf2 users.(yeah, like they do anyway)

I totally agree however it does destroy their already bad reputation. Lets say a newb comes to those forums, unaware of EA's past rubbish. And he sees that sort of stuff. Also I think it does send some sort of a message to EA saying what the gaming community thinks of them nevertheless. They know they've screwed up.
IT affects EA in no way because they are just public forums. Stuff happens. EA has no control over those forums, only the admins of the site. EA could care less, they have more important things to do (such as fixing our game, but that's not being done).

EA stepped into a big pile of sh*t when they released the buggy bf2 and SF and they still don't have big enough shoes to get out of it so EA's reputation can't go any lower. The only way to save their faces is to avoid the gaming community.
