#3 Lie lie and lie. If the forum is about something like a video game, make stories about how the game is coming out in a few months or make fake screenshots so that people actually believe the lies. When they find out they are fake they will be really really raged and stuff because you got their hopes up. there will also be wars between the believes and the non believes in your ****.

        Yes, but -

It was locked sometime after 11:00 GMT. What on earth were they doing, to wait so long?

And I doubt they will do anything effective to stop this. It's almost as if they're afraid they'll offend someone. A piece of crap posts violent white supremacist images, and the thread gets locked with some bleating by the mod about "please don't post images that some here may find racially offensive."

        It's pathetic.

I agree. A big juicy **** OFF would have done the job. But then again they can't really say that.

Well... spoke too soon. The "attacks" just changed gears. Now they're bumping some of the oldest threads 'n spamin anything anyone else says.

I suspect it's gonna take the befuddled EA admins awhile to settle things down.

They simply locked the forums. Good move.

EA UK forums are the best source of 'official' information still. EAUK_Sentience and EAUK_Protagonist provide good info sometimes and it's worth visiting every so often just for that.

I read 'em, I just don't feel the need ta post.

                    The community here is better.

Oh I agree...there IS no community at EA UK. You think people complain HERE? Man, it's 95% complaints over there

Agreed. I'd still post there if I thought that the EA folks were interactive at all, but I don't see and devs responding to anything of value. Would be nice if Dice was intereactive on the level that Bioware is. Now that's a company that knows how to handle communities!

Anyway, you missed the minor show here.

Local admins were much faster to react to the brief spam-storm we caught.

These young ruffians that are giving myg0t a bad name have nothing to do with us!

How dare you associate us with a bunch of hooligans, you people should be ashamed of yourselves. myg0t Inc. believes in values that all people can believe in and get behind (as is evidenced by our search for the cure for AIDS: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/te...mId=CB2MW3MRP1 ) and we wish you guys would not be tricked so easily by these obvious imposters.

The fact that many of you that have been hoodwinked and had the wool pulled over your eyes are Canadian comes as no surprise to me, since I am from Texas. You northernmen are all so gullible. Please try to act more mature and careful before laying your insults and accusations about.

Actually, I just hope that EA gets annoyed enought to step on these social rejects. Hard.

Myg0t people aren't smart. Sure, they use dynamic IPs from their ISPs to allow them to make new accounts, but what they fail to understand is that the IPs are time/date stamped and recorded by the ISP by law. This mean that at any given time any of the used IPs can be traced back to their ISP and a full record of who was using it is sitting right there.

                            Quite amazingly stupid, eh?

Unless they are MAC Spoofing. Then they will probably get away scott free.

Unless they are using DSL or another dedicated line, that makes it quite easy to see where its coming from.

                            Cable FTW!

Either way, the admins here are rather on the ball.
Hehe, Something you aren't likely to hear about is the number of times that these guys have been effectivly chased off.

Their host has told 'em to cool it or get cut off.
They especially don't like being DOSed.

True. TBF2 has some pretty effective administration policies in effect here. Seems like there is almost ALWAYS one online.

I hope EA and TBF2 take a moment to gather evidence and send it to the their host.

I wonder if all these kids are based out of the same area or if its a legion of fags from around the country/world?
