see mine below. Sniping and bombing are where most of my kills come from. Most deaths come from armor whores and me being generally too agressive.

I never took into account the 'life' factor in BF2.... Not like it was in high school ...all those years ago... Does anyone else miss the days of gaming day and night with no financial, career, relationship lashback?

If your teamwork score is higher than your combat score it would make sense that you die a lot....However just try slowing down, using cover, and not rushing...

KD Ratio is an overall judge of how well you are playing, but different types of players will have higher or lower kd ratios just because of what kits they prefer and what vehicles they use.

Take Psyco for example since he posted the first reply. Most of his time is spent in an airplane with a 7/1 + kill ratio, and second most used vehicle is with a tank with a 4/1 kill ratio. Both of these are great kill ratios, but the tank and the plane make it easier to get these types of ratios once you know how to use them.

If you take a look at his weapon stats, you will see that they are still good, but most are near a 1/1 except for the sniper rifle. Now getting in a tank or plane will not guarantee you a high k/d ratio, but once you get good at flying and bombing that stat will go up dramatically.

If you prefer an infantry role, you can expect your k/d ratio to be much lower. Good infantry players are up around 1.5/1. As infantry for example I think I have about a 1/1 kill ratio with a lot of assault rifle and shotgun and carbine kills. My tankwhore time pushes up my k/d ratio a little bit, but I'm not as good as Psyco in a tank.

Each playstyle is different and different k/d ratios will mean different things. If you spend a lot of time out of vehicles, or don't know how to effectively use vehicles, your k/d ratio will suffer, but that doesn't mean you are not a good infantry player, you just suck as a pilot and a tank driver .
