Death Rate

Whats your death rate/ death ratio? I have found my Team and combat scores are similar but my deaths are much much higher. Would you class me as a poor player for having a high death rate? The more I play, the more the margin lessens... do i just suck?

You just suck, to be honest if you can't get a kill to death ratio of 1 up then you suck.

I'd say the average, non-obsessed BF2 player has a KDR of around 0.8. But you do only have 3,000GP, so maybe you'll improve over time.

EDIT: LOL - I was looking at your stats and was thinking "WTF, last battle on April the 12th?" Took me a while to figure that one out.

well I don't think a lot of deaths mean you suck. it just means that you die a lot more than you kill people but if you are having fun, making points and helping out your team then who cares.

I for one have twice as many deaths as I have kills. Yeah I guess I'm not the best player but I have a blast when I play so I could care less.

I also play Medic more than I used to and playing medic has given me so many deaths its not funny. I'm always getting killed trying to save people. lol

yeah man.. death ratio in games says nothing except that you might have a live besides bf2 as well.

i just started this game and have a death/kill ratio i do not even want to mention here. but fun indeed. and dont know how people avoid this, but in some games i just get killed at the second i drop in.. or by artillery... or tank just in my face when respawn or what ever.

anyway great game, and switching to medic or engineer is fun indeed, even it can affect the kill/death i think.

KDratio: 1.53 I dont fly anything and rarely uses armor and dont play as support or engineer so I'm just normal ground fodder I guess. Statistics shows that if I meet someone on the battlefield I have a bigger chance of coming out on top then getting owned:) which to me sounds good since I just use my rifle.

I never took into account the 'life' factor in BF2.... Not like it was in high school ...all those years ago... Does anyone else miss the days of gaming day and night with no financial, career, relationship lashback?
