The key idea is that there are 3 tried and true ways to enter the ship, not just two. The deck, the rear transport area, and the south side portal. The last one is only applicable with helos [...]

I haven't played this map much yet, and only saw this portal yesterday. I'm not sure, but I think a Grappling Hook from a RIB can get you in there too.

There's no grappling hooks or ziplines on the map.

It'd be nice if there was an alternate entracnce by climbing up an anchor line or something.

Great strategy and post, thread-starter. Obviously this will only work if people are reading the text messages and even then, some people are so 'lone wolf oriented' that they won't bother to understand or follow your suggestion. This is obvious to many but when you drop out of the transport chopper, wait until the last second to open your chute because otherwise the opposition will be on you in seconds.

One user with a fast computer is enough to tip this map in MECs favor.

I've played this map about 10 times as MEC, and every time I've managed to take the Enigne Room (neutral) flag without encountering any resistance. Most USMC soldiers spawns on-deck and tries to get in the chopper or AA in the beginning - and forgets about defending the rear bay.
The closest I've come to any resistance was yesterday, when there was an AT guy swimming in the water a few meters from the ladders :)

wow. I have never once seen the rear bay not crawling with US forces. It is virtually impossible to drive a boat in there.

It is very simple,

I did it last night with some buddies (we rarely are the first let alone 10th ones in).

Whoever is in first jumps onto a jet ski. The next person makes a squad invites the guy on the jet ski into the squad. Then we make the jet ski guy the leader. None of us spawn until our jetski squad leader is in the bay then we all spawn and rush the flag which usually is in the process of being turned. Then you just walk it down.

OH and btw I usually medaled playing that way instead of just flying the chopper.

Thing is, if you get there early enough it's empty. After all, they have to spawn on-deck and make their way down there, and they normally fight for the chopper and whatnot first.
I always keep my eyes peeled on the scoreboard when approaching the bay, to see how many enemies have spawned, and I've never seen more than 2-3 enemies alive.

the best way to avoid getting slaughtered is to go all the way around the perimiter of the game so they don't see you

You can also take the transport way way up and hover directly over the ship and have people spawn from there but I guess that is a better way.

Pretty much if you are quick to start and you get a jetski and zoom it and go get that engine room flag you will be ok but if not you will get buggered.


I really wish grapling hooks werent pulled from that map, they would be so helpfull, by pulling up alongside the shipand cilmbing up. Its not like mec have any advantage at the moment anyway.
