The PKM has its pluses and faults, but it has a great charicteristic, lotta bullets! And with a lotta bullets you can keep on shooting when yer enemy is reloading, very handing in close quarter fighting. The PKM is the ultimate killing cannon

AK-74U is my fav

That is the least accurate of the specops weapons and its extra damage is not enough to matter.

Ak 101 medic kit. 1 headshot does the trick, no need for 2.

AK-47 takes one less hit to kill vs. body armor. Loses a bit of accuracy in full-auto but when accuracy matters I use semi- anyway. I'd take the AK-47 first, followed by QBZ-97 or G36c for their accuracy. I like the support weapons (except the Chinese) and the auto shotguns but they don't have the versatility of a good assault rifle/carbine.

All of the guns (barring SRs) that are powerful enough to kill in a headshot are too inaccurate/heavy to reliably get headshots beyond close-range.

AK-47 takes one less hit to kill vs. body armor.

It doesn't need to kill in one shot since most of the bullets land in the same place anyway. RoF is acceptable, too.

Actually the QBZ-97 is more accurate... it rules...

Not really. Its first shot is slightly more accurate only if you are prone and using the sights but it kicks more meaning that you can only fire one shot accurately but the G36C can fire in 2 shot bursts without a problem.

My top weapon is the M16+M203 just becasuse of how versatlile it is.

I know the QBZ-97 is good (it is my preffered standard carbine) but it is less flexible and as far as I'm concerned not a good in any situation as the G36C (at extreme ranges it is better but at that sort of range I wouldn't even fire, it just isn't effective). From the popularity of the G36C compared to the QBZ-97 most people tend to agree.

Love both guns. G36E is a given...its so easy to use with burst it can almost be called overpowered. The L85A1 is awesome if you actually understand how to AIM...thats right aim. I'm amazed how many people fire this gun in auto when it's so godlike in single shot

Most people don't bother using the -97 for very long. Chinese maps are rare enough, a folks rarely bother with a default gun when the unlock is available - even when the unlock isn't as good as the default.

I've got enough experience with the carbines to have a pretty educated opinion on the matter, and the -97 is an exceptional gun that's on par with the G36C in every functional way. And in my case, I prefer it. That's just me though - you don't have to agree, and it's clear that you don't. That's fine.

The QBZ has a smaller dev mod when prone, and max deviation cone (when firing auto) is smaller. But the G36C has better min. deviation, and lower recoil. In other words, if you're prone with the QBZ doing single shot, it's more accurate, but once you go to auto in ANY situation, the G36C is more accurate (cause of smaller recoil, also, it has better min deviation). So they both have ups and downs, at least we can agree on one thing, they're both still way better than all the other carbines.

How about the new f2000 more accurate than the g3 and still a 3 shot kill.Love the scar L but would rather have the scar H as the unlock.They kinda decieved us in the pictorial saying that it was available with either cartridge.Wished the 2000 had a red dot instead its current scope.I do believe if the scar H was available as a unlock that it would be the most popular personal weapon in the game; combining good accuracy with power.

I agree, the SCAR-H is total pwnage.
