Yeah, if teamswitching doesn't work, get out off the server before the losing round is over....

actually no. even if you quit early you will still get a loss if the team you were on loses.

It took me around 10 weeks to get it, and that was starting with under 200 losses. I posted about it in the bf2-tips section.

bascially you want to carefully choose your server and team. you'll get to know which servers are better to play on. if you join a server most likely the game is already under way so dont spawn yet (make sure that 'auto-ready' button on the load screen is turned off) take a minute to see how each team is playing, then decide which team you want to play on. most likely some sort of auto-balancing is on (even if auto-balance is off they are probably running bf2cc server tool) so you only get once chance to switch at the beginning. if you decide you want to be on the other team then switch teams and quickly hit the 'insert' key to form a squad so you dont get switched. If the round is just starting, form a squad and then apply for commander so you dont get switched.
you need 50hrs of command so most likely you'll be commanding a ton while working towards this ribbon. also use that command time to build up hours on player classes you dont normally play, so you can get your 15hrs in on each class to get veteran status. :)

I am at 1.81, and only 454 more wins to go. I have been working on this medal for months now.

Losses are such a bitch to take now. Knowing that each loss means 3 more rounds I have to win. Sucks.

I need less than 5 hours of command time before I can get it. Somehow I do not think that 5 hours will be a problem to fit in before I get my 454 wins - LMAO.

Just don't be one of those losers that switches teams near the end of the round to join the winning side. That is pathetic.

Anything's possible ...don't give up. I'm working on it even though I don't really command. Do what ever it takes for your team to get that win. Work on getting flags when your team is bleeding or get flags so the other team bleeds. Take it upon yourself to do all the little things. My win/loss ratio has slowly been creeping up so there is still a slight chance for me

well, im trying to get it now, since I joined my clan my w/l ratio has skyrocketed, ive nearly got 2:1 now when I had 1:1 before. I would have better but I still play on pub servers by myself. after all, its just an award and its not gonna kill me to not have it :)

i really dont play just to get the medals. i play to my best every game. and if i get a medal, thats pretty dang nice but its not like im going to play JUST to get the medal

lol..I haven't been trying.. just keeping the window of opportunity slightly open. :p As I said b4.. I'm not much of a commander. I don't even have the hour requirement for the ribbon..don't even have staff officer ribbon

I do like winning though.

Im working on this alittle at a time,little commander here,some wins here bla bla bla etc etc,probably take me a year just to get the 3/1 win ratio
