Battlefield 2 With 512 MB Video Card

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone here has gamed with 1 GB of RAM and a 512 MB video card at max settings. Will the other 256 make up the RAM defficency? Like anyone with an X800XL 512, 6800 ULTRA 512, X1800XT or Nvidia GTX 512? Thx everyone

Because people will buy it for an increased price, they are developing new technologies, to get above there rivals, it can be used in graphics design, and games will advance to use them at a point in time.

Yes, very good. I see they have tought you well in school. However, two video cards with 256mb of ram put together do not give 512 mb of ram. IT doesn't work that way...

Also in your signature you spelled Battlefield 2 Idoits wrong. It's I D I O T S, and in fact it makes you look like and idoit.

Games don't have to be "designed" to use more video memory. They just load as many textures as possible into the vid card's memory, and then start to use the amount of system RAM allocated in the BIOS's AGP Aperture. After that, textures will be loaded into the swap.

512 also has higher speeds so thatll increase your performance.

And no, I didn't get up on the wrong side of the bed..... It just seems to me that the average parent might have taught their children to keep their ignorant mouths shut, when the subject of conversation turns to something they have no clue about. Mine did! I enjoyed the company of adults from a very early age, but I never opened my mouth in a social situation unless I knew what I was talking about first hand.

The amount of complete bullsh1t that gets posted into these forums straight from the playground is revolting.
