I was thinking the same...
In fact, I can't think of a single thing that a macro would be really helpful for in BF2. Too bad. I'm thinkin I'm gonna be snaggin myself one of those Logitech G15 keyboards ('cause backlit keyboards are fuggin cool!).

agaes ago i was trying to get my vet c4 badge and tried to make a macro

i tried and tried but i could not get consistant results

sometimes it wold throw 2 charges, othertime it would just switch to det.

i gave up and just decided to get good at using c4 a bit smarter than just spamming it

im actually quite quick with it now :)

And again as to that issue, how is this different from paying for an uber-computer that gives you ultra-smooth framerates and low ping?
I'd call that the biggest advantage of all.

Which is why I don't care about people paying for ever so slight advantages when paying for a lower ping and higher framerate makes much more of a difference. If you're serious anough to put the money towards it you probably would beat me with or without your macro.

I play BF2 in the nude sometimes and my wife does not consider it cheating.....

Ummm, I use a mouse and when I toss, right click, and try to detonate, I usually see myself toss another C4 pack. THE GAME IS SCREWED, not my mouse. It shoudl switch right away. If I take my tiem and press the button, wait, then detonate, it will work..... but I am dead by then so who cares!

I've never gotten in to macros, but if I ever wanted something that would get done in one key press it would be... 'Enemy Spotted'.

Doesn't matter now anyway...since I've now worked one out that works 100 % of the time, so flame away all the lamers who hate macros or consider them cheating. :p
