Yesterday www.battlefield2.com had an article about a new community update patch.

Now that update (about a new patch) is gone from EA's website.

More than likely, they probably jumped the gun on the announcement. Someone probably found out and told them to pull it.

Read the TotalBF2 Home page often, a reference to it is on there.

Ahhh...here you go. Discussion about it fr/ TBF2 home page. Basically, it is an update about there being an update in the works. Very descriptive!

it WAS gone for about 5-6 hours.

My guess is the server reverted to an older page for some reason (power outage maybe) and they just got the fresh one back up.

No biggie, but it did look like they pulled it.
