your insane, its the exact opposite. You must have been on vanilla server #1 last night. A good portion of TG was playing on the SF server #2, so I imagine server #1 was mostly normal pubbies without TG members to glue the team play together. Try a night where you see |TG| tags. I was playing on server #2 last night and every single player on the server was in a squad and everyone was on VOIP... it was intense.

3-4 is not enough to really influence the play. There was about 40 TG tags on server #2, it was definitely hogging all the non-pubbies. Sorry you had a bad experience, they just happened to organize a good showing on the SF server last night
It just doesnt make sense why people don't automatically want to play in full squads....makes no sense
There are people who don't work well in squads. These kinds of people are (generally speaking) snipers and special forces. You should only join a squad if you are willing to work as a squad.
Lone wolves can compromise the security, the stealth, and even the level of trust within a squad. If one squad member is a horrible partner, then how much more will you trust your other squad members? Probably less than what is needed for a squad to function efficiently.
This is why some people shouldn't play in a squad.

Huh? Why is resigning as squad leader kinda like cheating? It's a smart tactic to maintain a forward spawn point, especially if you're attacking a distant base.
If your dead then surely it is appropriate for the next highest rank to take command... I have to admit to only learning to do this recently but it really helps if the whole squad buys into it...
And I have finally done the deed, I have purchased a new set of head phones with mic, so we shall see how that goes...
Squads on VOIP are definitely the strongest teams around ... there's so much more information about the battlefield that is available to the average soldier especially when its coming from 6 different viewpoints.
Lone wolves aren't going to have access to that much information if they're simply relying on what the radar tells them.
TacticalGamer's servers are so much more fun than any other server I've been on for just that reason, that everyone is working together as a unit. It's intense. I would suggest to that person who had a bad experience to try again when there's alot more people on.
Exactly, what it comes down to is communications and having squad members with mic's.
I had a squad earlier today and was just yelling out commands left and right like "somebody spawn with a grappling hook on me"..."somebody spawn on me with a zip line". We were moving around the map flag to flag, climbing each roof with a grapple line and than zip-lining to the next roof over. Just use your mic and it makes the game a lot more fun and you don't have to type things out or have that idiot do the wrong thing in front of you.

Sorry man, but my experience was different than yours. It sucked. I'm going to try it again, but my first time in there was disappointing given how frequently people tout TG.
I left Sharqi Peninsula halfway through the round with a 20-5 K/D because it wasn't any more gratifying than ranked BF2.
