Official website says there will be another patch, and it will incorporate user feedback:

Haha. :laugh:

I wouldn't expect too many changes to be honest...they'll be working on the next expansion because they can make more money out of it. They'll probably just make everyone's name tags red (to fix the red name bug! ) and take AA out totally (can't complain about it not shooting down things now!). :p

This sounds like they are basing the possible changes on the poll from EA Uk held last month on the things that people would like to see changed the most.

About 50% of the people in here agreeded with the list and 50% thought it was crap so either way it's another case of not being able to please everyone at the same time.

Those appear to be the two largest community issues so I would be suprized if those aren't addressed in some fashion...

Hopefully they'll make it everything we hoped 1.03 was going to be, but wasn't. :p

I wonder if that means they're seriously going to do something about bunnyhopping, since that was the #1 concern on the list made by that eauk thread. Whatever the case I just hope the un-foul up the official EA servers because they're all running Karkand and Devil's Perch right now and some of them don't even have autobalance on.

The timescale to implement a patch would mean that if they are seeking opinions now, the patch will be be many months away.

OR there is a patch due out soon which won't address the issues the community has, and will merely bring the game back to its previous position.

I get the impression that SF was developed on a slightly older engine then 1.03, & that things were rolled back a little on 1.12 to get SF out of the door before the Christmas season rather than attempting to update SF & risk missing its release dates.

I know what my money is on...
