over all those gamespot scores are always way to high, almost never there is a game scoring less then 8 , and as we all know there are tons of games out there wich ain't even worth an 5 .

Why they gave SF less points then BF2 , well, for starting because of the bugs and because it's an expansion, with every expansion there comes out for any game they score lower because they always say
    - same gameplay
    - same this same that

    well, offcourse, it's an expansion.

Once I have send those gamespot guys about the fact every game is scoring so dam high.

they answered my to mind my own business

Expansion packs get like an automatice -1 just because they are not full-fledged games...

If you read how they review it, they judge the game based on the standards of its platform. The standards of PC is a lot higher than consoles, while games on weaker platforms will get a higher score than its counterpart on a more powerful platform.

Personally I think the graphics in SF don't deserve the same score as BF2.

They look flat, rushed, and generally shoddy. The original BF2 ones were fantastic, the new ones are, well, you know, so so.

And it IS 6 months later.

Why did they give vanilla BF2 a "stable" rating for stabibility?

Same engine, but lower performance, lower fps. Obviously if Dice were to fix this problem, their opinion might be improved.

Given how the unlocks that we non-SF owners received in the new patch were available to look at, I don't blame them for giving it a lower graphics score. In fact, if everything is in line with those unlocks compared to the original BF2 weapons, I would have given it a 6. The weapons just look....plain. They don't look like weapons, they look like plastic toys someone got a Wal-Mart. At the same video settings, the default weapons look really nice compared to these new over-hyped weapons. But I do agree that Gamespot rated both too high.

Honestly I've hardly ever had BFw fall over on me. Never when I've been online, like once in SP and only a handful of times in MP lan, and only then with bots in.

Thats a bastardisation of the system anyway, so no wonder it collapses. It was especially suceptible to som of the other mods.

I'd have given it a lower overall for lack of single player, especially no 64 bots. WTF?

Even BF1942 had a semi-campaign type thing. This has NOTHING.

                    BF2 : SF

what do you think , Is that true
                    BF2 is more better than BF2:SF !!
Look right next to the ratings at stability. The vanilla is stable, SF is major problems. I read the review over 2 or 3 times, the problem is the EA downloader probs, and distribution, places in the US got it on the 21st, some just got it on the 23rd, for vanilla, all places got it like 5 days before they could be sold. Distribution wasn't good, also, just bugs in game, if EA had better distribution, i guarantee you, SF woulda gotten at least a 8.5 on the GS scale.

EDIT: IGN gave BF2SF a 8.0, so i consider GS generous. And BTW, search pearl harbor zero hour in GS. It got like a 5.5 on the scale, a mediocre game indeed. All the horrible games arn't very famous and don't sel well.

                      simple

                      gamespot testers are jet whores

there are no jets in SP

therefore SP is not as fun
