well for what i know of foreign accents and languages they could of had someone speaking gibberish that sounded russian and i would not know the difference

i am chinese and i realized that the chinese actually have some american accent in BF2, which led me to believe that a lot of these talking were actually done by americans and not people of some other culture speaking it the proper way, and if u can understand chinese u'd realize that the chinese grammar is totally wrong in BF2 (exactly the way an american would speak it)....so ya not too surprising if Russians have american accent too, i wish i could understand arabic, then i'd know if it's true

According to some Arabic speakers it has quite a few grammar errors too. I'm so glad I don't understand any of those languages. Then again, mis-translations are usually funny, so it might be a good source of entertainment.

Well in BF2, the Russian speak has few grammer errors but the accent is just horrible

ummm just becasue the company is in canada doesn ot mean that the pople who did any of the voice acting or coding have to be canadians

maybe they are 1 gen russian canadians who cares about the accent if the owrds are close enough and u can make out grenade or ammo or med then good enough

can u frag someone yes u can can u play for hundreds or hours yes then whooppee the game is successful

Well if you look at the credits, it seems they used a Russian for getting the talent (if that's a Russian name):



The other names seem Russian (to a complete non-russian) too.
