It's too bad the BF2 community didn't TOTTALY band together and boycott the expansion to protest the crap load that is BF2 and its lies... but at least a good number of people have. I wonder why the CoD2 community is different than the BF2 community...

Im sure there will be a lot of servers up and running on december 17th....
The letter makes it sound like EVERYONE will boycott it....
And its only 1 day too, youre comparing it to not buying a game.

I personaly am in the CAL community, and the devs for cod have been very good . I'm sorry but they just went lazy on cod2. First it was no anti cheat, then it was plain out map problems! I mean invisible walls in carentan (stairs that you can hide behind and be seen, but can't be shot) Also you can literally fall out of the map in dawnville ( for noobs it's snt meir egliese? sp) behind the church. There were like 5 patches for the first cod? and 1 or 2 for uo? I can't remember, but yes they've been very good to us. Now they are ignoring this? And then they toned down the xbox360 online to 8 players! They must adress these problems or else we will not play their game.

someone needs to organize something like against EA/Dice.

I'd rather be playing a CoD game full of cheaters than a buggy bf2 game whose server selector doesnt even work. Id rather be playing CoD2 than the game that the developers have already symbolicaly abandoned by releasing their expansion so quick, they realized that they rushed out a game that was going to dive under so they decided to fill their pockets while they could and bail out. This is a totally different group of people than the ones who made our beloved bf1942. CoD is so moddable theres already induvidual anti cheat programs that work if you wanted and you can also download one right as you join the server as well as the rest of the CoD2 minimods. The graphics are better, it runs better, minimizes quickly, the server selector is smooth. It is far ahead of bf2.

Too many people here and at EAUK are too afraid to be honest about the game and express their negativity. With people saying it's a great game others not posting anything wrong, it won't happen... at least here.

I think you'd eat your words if you actually played a game with no real anti-cheat system. Remember the early days of CS:S? Before VAC? Yeah, I do too, and it sucked.

Your probably just spewing rhetoric to prove a point that you hate BF2 though, so I'm probably just posting this for nothing.
