I thought foxhounds were arty. :0 I really have no idea what any of that stuff means.
Definitions of foxhound on the Web:
* medium-sized glossy-coated hounds developed for hunting foxes

* High-Tech Special Forces Unit FOX-HOUND (or FOXHOUND) is a fictional special forces unit in the Metal Gear series, specializing in solo covert infiltration missions, founded by Major Zero as the Force Operations X unit during the Cold War.

In all seriousness its pretty lame the way EA has handled this.
Its not even a question of them 'not getting with the times' SAS soldiers have NEVER spoken like that mainly because the vast majority of Britiush SAS soldiers are Scottish in origin and trained in herefordshire.
Also the music is lame. I mean why is it when the USMC win a round you get the american national anthem but when Britian wins you get some odd peice of music i as a englishman have never heard of ? Where's god save then queen for goodness sake?
And why is it that the British and the Americans never fight in the expansion? You could say because in real life they're allies (not that real life comes in to it with BF2) but if that was true then how come the Russian spetnaz fight the Brits and the Americans? The Russians are Americas and Britians allies too.....
starlite: Flamboyant, incredibly effeminate male horse from the 1983 TV series, Rainbow Brite. He's scary. And calls everything MAGNIFITHENT. Especially...
Really makes you wonder...
Starlight also makes cases which are apparently very durable, so maybe the brits are asking for some bags to pack so they can go home and watch some BBC?
Play as a brit, and hit the left mouse button. I think you say Starlight my position. I think thats when you die, you face up, and see starlight...but not in broad daylight...

This extract is from a diary of a WWII British officer :
"I can't stay here all night with this lot," he moaned, indicating his bullet-riddled arm.
"It's all right, mate," I hastened to reassure him. "I've already radioed for Starlight jeep. It should be here soon." I had seen him brought in and had radioed immediately for a medical officer. The man nodded his thanks and resigned himself to waiting.
This seems to be better than my crap reply concerning cases. In WWII a 'starlight jeep' was a 'medic jeep'.
so I guess starlight means medical supplies...in WWII jargon...
DICE still using old timey 40s accents with old timey 40s jargon. get with the times you silly canadians. =\
