Half of you people are missing his point. Commanders that spam nonsense the entire map more than likely do more damage to you then they help.

You cannot hear anything around you with "Enemy Spotted" all map long. You cannot hear the enemy shouting that he is throwing a grenade or asking for a medic or reloading so you can run in for the easy kill.

The commander spamming is a constant distraction and it does not help. They have UAV that is up about 85% of the game it has a very low downtime unless it is destroyed.

Spotting tactically is perfectly fine -- spot tanks, helicopters, and large groups of enemies, not every single person on the map 300m away from anyone.

Well, it really depends which type of commander you have. If it's a noob, you'd be half and half. Maybe he only uses UAV and Artillery, which would be good for staying "quiet" but bad for spotting out enemies. Or, maybe he spams the messages with "enemy spotted" every ****ing second, to which it's no help at all...50/50

the commander can spot out individual enemies that are on the other side of the map not in the UAV at the time. So the teammates in the area will know about it.

Another thing to think about is, how about he was such a retard that he would spam enemy spotted until the enemy he spotted was killed. Either way it's wrong.

The commander is trying to help the team win by performing a valuable service...MAKING ENEMIES SHOW UP ON THE FREKKIN MAP.

It is not the commanders fault the devs made it impossible to do this without spamming noise.

Which is worse?.....not pointing out the enemies is worse!

When I am commander as the scan goes across the screen I spot EVERY enemy that is not currently being UAV'ed and I will spot armour that is within the UAV radius if it the UAV is about to end to keep it on the map.

Would I prefer it wasn't annoying...hell yea, but am I going to NOT give my team the advantage of KNOWING were the enemy is....FRIG NO!

I totally disagree, and I have NEVER had a complaint from anyone, in fact most people tell me I am an amazing commander. Why? because normally I take the team to victory. So, no offense I could care less what all of you lone wolfs say

I mean, you fly a plane which means you could care less about infantry, but people on the ground might actually want this information, since they aren't in an invulnerable flying tank
