Grapple, just cant see a valid application for the Zip line other than getting off a building, or i could use my parachute.

I think they are both good...i try to get my clan mates to go with me while I am SpecOps and he gets us on the building with the grapple and I zip us right to the flag..good for fast attack

Hook is more useful imo. Zipline is good for getting somewhere fast.

As much as I love the hook...

I saw a spec ops guy throw down a line on warlord from a rooftop to the plaza (the building from sharqi) and then about 8 people followed him and capped the flag instantly.

it was amazing.

i never play sniper or n00b ops, so i dont use the zip line fro my self, i have howecer been zipped from the top of devils perch to the bottom and that was quite fun

whenever i have a grapple i want a zip line and whenever i have a zipline i want a grapple, but grapple comes in more handy imo.

I voted grapple hook but I prefer to play in a squad that has both.

btw Does anyone know of servers that have integrated the grapple hook and zipline into vanilla BF2?

Grappling hook is more usefull in most situations. The zip line is not bad either. A good way to get to the tv station like spawn point on warlord.
