If you live in England you are English. If you live outsid you are British. Ie, if you live in northen Ireland, Scotland, Wales you are British.

One thing you have to remember, while it may be slightly annoying for us English (or Brits) to hear them make a mockery of our accent, do you really think it'd be good for a Geordie to do em? I mean, hell, I can hardly understand an unexcited Geordie at the best of times - stick him in a battlefield environment and his words are just gonna be rattled off like a machine gun. Then think of our poor European neighbours - how the heck would they understand what he's saying?

I think the 'upper class' approach is the best, simply because its the easiest to understand.

hehe, I'm from Grimsby (North East Coast), which doesn't really have any sort of pronounced accent as such.

Fingers crossed I am moving to New Zealand in April, just waiting for a job offer. Do they have decent broadband connections out there? Currently on 10Mb in the UK.

w00t, another sas voice topic for me to rant in, personally im disgusted what the designers have done with our accent, and im not easily disgusted, ive seen some messe up stuff O.o, anyway, the fact that theyve stereotyped us is, quite francly unacceptable, i mean, how would americans feel if they made every single american voice in bf2 sound like someone from texas and tennese, thered be outrage, serisuly DICE if your reading, please please change the voices, or atleast release a voice pack later on or something, its outragous. hell ill even give you my paycheck for a month, please sort it out.

They wont change it, The UK is only a very small part of their global market. If they were that bothered they would have payed out for British voice talent rather than using Americans or Canadians to put the accent on.

Numb nuts. English, Irish Scottish and Welsh are ALL British.
If you are from any of these you can call yourself British but equally use you own nationality i.e. Northern Irish or Scottish.
