You must unlock the Tier 1 weapon before you can get a Tier 2 weapon. If you have 4 unlocks in BF2 and only got 2 new ones, that is because you unlocked the sniper and the AT guns in regular BF2. If you had chosen other guns, you would have gotten your 4 unlocks.

That's unusual, i have the PKM, G36C, G3, and the L85, and i only got 2 unlocks, even though i have like 6500 points. Am i missing something?

I think you have to be at least a sergeant (2500 points) in SF to get the SF unlocks to start. You have only 2 because sniper and AT have no SF unlock.

I have the support, spec ops, assault, and medic upgrades. But i've figured out the thing, i've unlocked one reg bf2 weapon for the first 4 unlocks, and those two unlocks i've for SF are from the 5000 point mark. (actually i got 1 from 2500 and 1 frm 5000, but i still got 2 leftover for SF). NOw i gotta work my way up to gunnery sergeant and get those 2 SF unlocks.

When the list says 1, you will get one normal unlock or one sf unlock if it says 2 you will get two normal, one normal & one sf or two sf.

Note: You will only get ONE weapon when it says 2 if you dont have SF.
Note2: You do have to have the normal unlock for the class you want the SF unlock before you can choose the sf one.

umm.. unsure but: i do not have the engineer unlock in BF2, but was able to unlock it in BF2:SF although, the engy unlock is the only one i need in BF2, so maybe that helped or something.. is there a website with all the BF2:SF kit and unlock and award and rank info on it?

yes, i am lost on that as well, possibly the version of bf2 with SF playable? (update 1.12?)

I don't get 1 point. I have 6000 points now, if I buy SF and install it, do I have right away 2 unlocks for it (the one from 2500 points and the one from 5000 points)? Or do I have to get 8000 points before I can get 1 SF unlock.

Yes as per the post, you will get a SF unlock for both 2500 and 5000... though you can use them on regular BF2 unlocks.

I can confirm... When I installed I got 1 after one round (for the 2500 rank), I then made the 5000 rank and received 2 more.

well how come I as a sargeant with 3600 points, can access the weapons in sf but havent been given any new unlocks and cant access the new guns in bf2?
