Hinds are supposed to be really frickin cool, but DICE had to chop their balls of by not letting passengers in. In Desert Combat they were awesome, because you could clear an area of tanks, then paradrop troops in to take land and kick ass.

This really makes me want to re-install 1942 and DC, where Hinds can carry troops, and PKMs can actually hit.

they should make it so you can transport 3 dudes uin the hind aside from the gunner and pilot. It would be sweet then.

This Russian garbage is so heavy hard to manuaver, and weapons just plain suck. Need i say more?

The hind sucks so bad compared to the apache, I was going to post a thread on this, good thing i saw this one.

I mean its so unmanuverable compared to the Apache, thats another reason why so many people play SAS, they get the better chopper.

I would spend ten mintues waiting for an apache to spawn rather than wait 2 for a hind to spawn any day.

I can use them both, but the apache is much more agile, and so lives longer, and gets more kills....

Yeah, the fact that you could transport with the Hind in DC was pretty awesome. But you know people would scream if they gave that ability to Hinds as the game is now, since the other team wouldn't have a counterpart in the Apache. That being said, they should have a map with a transport Hind opposed by a Blackhawk instead. :) Mashtuur would be fun haha!

And about the gunner/pilot relationship, if you are doing your job as a pilot and your gunner is competent, you will never really need to fire a single rocket. It would be nice to have some kind of autosquading options of sorts for vehicles, or VOIP.

The hind would be the best if they let you carry soldiers in it like real life, the thing can really hold like 8 guys

and about the hind i think its really a hunk of junk it glides from the right to the left or its just me that i am used to the great AH-1Z cobra :) and someone said that they had to do the MI-28 than other people will complain they were lazy scum that didnt even took the effort to put in some chopper like the HIND..

Are YOU on cr@ck? Fly the hind for 3 hours straight and then fly the apache for ten mintues...you should be able to tell the difference...chances are...YOU don't even fly choppers that often...

It's obvious that it's pilot's error and not the game. It flys and kills just fine for me.

The hind is indeed a pieve of junk.

You can't fly the thing properly, when you want to make a dive with it, you need to releasy trotle, otherwise it just points downwards and doesn't do anything else.
Misiles are to wide.
can't shoot misiles very fast.

Apache is superb, good flight control, misiles are closer, and you can fire those misiles much faster.

Also, the hind is much bigger , meaning it's much easyer to get hit with the thing, trying to hit an apache with the hind isn't easy because the apache is much smaller and those misiles go very wide

Hind should be able to transport troops and even though it is not as manouverable as an Apache it should be more agile then any transport helo. Much more agile. Besides Hind has a really really good armor. Nothing of these specs is not simulated in this game... too bad. It looks like only American euqipment can be the best even though it often is not in real world.
